Retrofitted LEDs on tailight of my P150 Classic

I did not go for LEDs in that way. Those LEDs will be very bright to be used as back-lighting in the console. I used normal LEDs. I glued one LED each under each digit(1, 2... etc, 10, 20 etc) of the console. Total of about 20 LEDs. I connected them together using resistors and powered them using the wires that power the original bulbs.

Here is a pic of a LED -

The 5mm LED I have used is the one at the centre. The rightmost one is 3mm and the leftmost one is 8mm.
I tried fitting the 5mm leds in my unicorn... but it did not work
duuno y?
Anyways, the Unicorn has one 3w bulb for the centre console and 4 smaller 1.7w bulbs for the other two side consoles...
I found a direct replacement for the 3W bulbs which worked...
DealExtreme: $7.25 T10 1.5W 75-Lumen White LED Light Bulb for Vehicles - Aluminum Shell (DC 12V) 2-Pack
DealExtreme: $3.59 6-LED 12V Vehicle Signal Lights (2-Pack White)
but nothing for the smaller 1.7w bulbs
Any suggestions??

The general idea is described in the 1st post. Why don't you try something yourself and let us know what you come up with?Originally posted by bikerharis View PostHi all .. any one can provide me a LED layout in bread board for my 95 model RX100's tail light?? Also how can i fit a LED for the speedo console??
I glued the LEDs underneath the numbers in the speedo dial.

Yeah, a lower value cap will discharge faster.Originally posted by rider_rock View Posthelp guys , can using 450micro farad capacitor solve the problem
Indicators flash due to a flasher circuit present in the bike. LEDs will flash too, but they may blink faster compared to bulbs due to change in resistance.

Yes it is totally due to the capacitor. It takes a lil time to discharge completely.

when you switch-off the light the L.E.D remains on for few seconds{5-7 sec} & completely goes off in 2 minutes, is this due to the use of capacitor or there is some thing wrong in my circuit, ie 4 L.E.D in series with 195 ohm resistance, 1000 micro farad capacitor 25v
or is this normal
