    yes buddy will buid the entire ckt on new P.C.B & this time i am going to use in4007 mic diodes let`s see what will happen ,
    was thinking to reduce the voltage `cause as i rev the vehicle the L.E.Ds goes off

    No, resistors there are not needed. For 9V, R1 = 50 Ohms, Number of LEDs in series = 4. But why do you need for 9v???

    As for the flickering, maybe it is a loose connection somewhere? Else, I have no idea.. maybe you can try to rebuild the circuit. If all components are correctly connected, it should work properly.

    thanks for the info but buddy the old problem is still there , i.e when i rev the scooter the L.E.Ds starts blinking & then goes off have changed the diodes {polarity is correct}, capacitor{polarity is correct} & have increased the resistance from 170 ohm to 205 ohm, what could be the problem, on idle the L.E.Ds glows without any problem

    so should i put the resistance like this & what should be thr value of resistance to make 12v to 9v

    A 3mm LED will have a narrow and focused beam, while a 8mm LED will have a slightly soft diffused beam. And, IMO looks better. And I don't think so power varies. It should be same.

    what i done is replaced the LED's which weren't enough bright and resoldered all components.

    I will post the daytime pics. I know that ac is alternating current , i forgot the AC reading. Me too thought it was 6v, and it's written 6v in the service manual of RX100, the manual is 20+ years old, and my bike is only 14 years old. i think the last RX100's were 12v. But now i am really confused about it's voltage.

    BTW thanks for your support. Next I'm gonna implement this on my friend's Splendor.

    Ok i will try, No!! i'm still on 100ohm for 5 LEDs. BTW I checked the voltage of my bike using a multi tester, the DC from the battery is 12v. and the ac is, ac is... oops sorry i forgot!

    Then, the cap is sufficient I think maybe the coil gives lower voltage at idle. Anyways you can try with a 2000uF cap and see, no harm in trying. And you used 2 leds + 150 ohms?

    Sand the surface of the 2 white LEDs to diffuse the glow. Else use a thin white foam infront of the LEDs.

    it glows for some time, a small glow. Now i need to change the focus of the two white LEDs for the license plate. Now both are focusing at same place. It's looking like a spotlight. I need to change it.

    Not so appealing in a closer view. But looks awesome from a distance, really!! Only one problem, the AC park light is flickering at idle speed, also there isn't enough glow while idling. As rpm increases it glows. Is it any problem with the capacitor? I'm using 1000uf 25v capacitor.
    Wow! Looks great.. Yeah, try using a 2000uF cap or so.. when you OFF the light, does it glow for some time and turns off (like car headlight) or it switches off immediately?

    I was busy for 2 days, so couldn't work with my bike. Anyway today i fixed my problems. the lights are now working. I used the same circuit and same the components. what i done is replaced the LED's which weren't enough bright and resoldered all components.
    here are the pics.
