I would say a "Pi" filter is an overkill. Anyways, my LEDs never flickered with the cap! Why add an inductor to the mix, when a cap does the job satisfactorily.Originally posted by rahul9985 View Post

If the cap value is too high, it may take some time. Just use a lower value capacitor as suitable.
