yes that is what i did. I put the bulb in a plastic cover and hit it slightly with an iron peice to break the outer glass. And i soldered wires into it. Then i cant put back this broken bulb into the holder. The remaining glass inside the bulb near the filament is breaking when i put it in the holder and twist. -

If you are interested in doing, then don't remove the tail lamp unit. Just make use of circuit board and install them. Refer this link. Its very well done on Unicorn.

Shree I've got my HID Projector and am working on it. Here's one of the pic. Poor cam quality courtsy : N6300

I really pitty about ur Uni, cause whenever u get some free time u wont let it be idle.
