Great mod man, looks very authentic. My advice would be change the front forks to the larger dia 220 forks. Should help on the suspension bit too. Also, I noticed your rear indicators are positioned pretty low, which makes it look a bit awkward.

everything but the tank gel well.. if you could get a better looking tank to go with the aggressive front and rear. nevertheless a very good job.10 Commandments:

my bike has done 18k...and i din't want a new r15 nor do i wanted it to look like r15 ..i jus' wanted a different look from the other pulsars...Originally posted by Wheel_Spin View PostNo offence but for the amount you spent you could've have gotten the real thing itself. Not to mention the fact that the fairing if custom built for a engine which is liquid cooled as opposed to a air cooled engine. You might end up damaging the bike's engine.

i don't see any issues with over heating as yet...Originally posted by nand15 View Posthey man ... that mod looks really clean ... looks stock , wonder if Bajaj can take a leaf out of this and change their styling ... 35k is a bit steep though ... what about engine heating up and any other issue ?
i'll post in case anything arises.......!
thanx for the info buddy...!...great advice..~.. !Originally posted by pavanchirmade View PostHey the mod is pretty neat. Just make sure that the fairing does not bock airflow to the OIL COOLER.Ohterwise the engine will heat up pretty bad. Also yours is a 200 with stock coil n all right? I suggest install Avenger 180's stator plate which provides 65watt output.
Get an Avenger 180 coil/stator plate.I got one for my 180 at Rs532/- and 20bucks for fitting. Also use 35 watt bubs if you want to use both bulbs at the same time. Else you have the option of getting the bike converted to DC electricals and install a parallel charger. For more reference search for threads named 1. My pulsar classic converted to all DC in DESI BIKES 2. unicorn converted to all DC help to increase battery charging rate in help me section 3. relays and dc headlights in help me
yea..!...it rubs...but on very very harsh braking..!...overall in normal braking it's fine..Originally posted by jasmeetsinghchawla View PostEverything on the bike is looking good except for the clipons which are looking very bulky. Also 35k seems very steep.
Did you check the clearance of the front tyre under braking it may rub again the engine guard.Last edited by MG; 07-24-2009, 09:58 AM.

Very nice mod there!
My only concern is about the your bike's engine heating up.. Do try to not run the bike for continuosly prolonged periods of time.. Coz I'm sure, a fairing built for a liquid-cooled engine, is not going to el too well with an air-cooled engine..
Cheers!
EDIT: Can you pls elaborate why the thread is called so?Last edited by tibby; 07-17-2009, 10:23 PM.
My views on the YZF-R15 V2.0: http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/news/198...tml#post699240
The pleasure is when your rear wheel slides, and you bring it back; and when the front wheel lifts, you take your time bringing it back.

^^ Its an oil cooled engine not air cooled.
Nice mod.Originally posted by radioactiveyea..!...it rubs...but on very very harsh braking..!...overall in normal braking it's fine..
Try R-15 tires its size is 80/90x17 whereas your 200 tires are 90/90x17 i feel changing this will avoid scaping.
The 220 swingram and rear discs will make it a complete package, think about it."Engine tuning is not an exact science, but with some practice and patience you'll get comfortable with your skill and be able tune for any conditions mother nature throws at you"

though...now i am keen for some performance mods...!...
i don';t really know..!....i guess because i converted my red pulsar into this black n wild green coloured beast..!...and my imagination says that the new color can resemble that of a dark black forest with green wild grass...!...may be that's y....Originally posted by tibby View PostVery nice mod there!

As rightly asked by one more people,R15 is Liquid Cooled,it's Engine Cylender kit has not got Fins to cool it down hence it can run easy in this cage,
But P200 is though Oil Cooled but can't be compared to the Yamaha's Technology,in this cage I think it will heat up a Bit,Now that is something of a concern..
Second P200's Coil is only generating a power to support onyl one headlight so are you running on one or Two,if Two,, HOW..???
Even one seems to Dim for me!
P.S: Use the Multi Quote Button.. That is right in the bottom right hand side Just besides Edit and Quote!" Nothing Z Forever,Except D Change "

For god's sake.. it's not an OIL COOLED engine.. it's a normal AIR COOLED engine and OIL COOLED is a feature which keeps OIL cool and not the ENGINE. Btw, nice mod..Those people who tell you not to take chances

Ok, so if the Oil is being cooled...doesn't the engine also run cooler?Originally posted by MotorBreath! View PostFor god's sake.. it's not an OIL COOLED engine.. it's a normal AIR COOLED engine and OIL COOLED is a feature which keeps OIL cool and not the ENGINE. Btw, nice mod..
Not disputing that it still is a Air Cooled engine though._________________________
