Karizma ZMR ride report and first impressions

    Finally got to see the ZMR in flesh, and that too in the most unlikely of places.

    Must say the bike looked like an awesome Suzuki mini sports bike from front and front quarters. The road presence when seen from the front is pretty amazing.

    Its a pity though that they did not up the power of the engine!

    Anyone having issues with the fairing scraping?

    Any heating issues observed so far?

            Pune ppl, please help!

            Where did you book the ZMR from? Is anyone in the PMC area taking the booking right now? However, there is one showroom in Wakad which has started the booking, but that is in PCMC area. Is there any problem if I buy/book from there in registration process or price?

            Also- what do you think should be the price of a 2006 black karizma with 25 k km done. I may end up buying a second hand karizma because of the long wait..

                  Pass light is there...as for parking lights...it seems that you are referring to pilot light...yes it is there..

                    Well, I did saw a WHITE ZMR in the remote places as well. It was near Kushal nagar, the other ZMR rider was breezing past us only to stop at the next Tea Shop! And w r t your queries, I'm absolutely loving it. No heating Issues / Ground Clearance issues. If I'm right, On paper ZMR has more GC than the ZMA -R! Anyway, my ZMR has faired well, taking all the stupid Speed Breakers in Chennai without any issues.

                    As said, I'm hitting Bangalore this weekend - may be we will catch up

                      Finally got to see her..

                      Finally I was able to have a look of the beauty (in YELLOW) in Prakash Motors..

                      Its HUGE man.. It really looks like a small SUZUKI GXR from front. I am lovin it. I enquired about the WHITE one and they said the waiting period is 3 months where for any other color its 45-60 days..

                      On road price: ~107000/- in Bangalore.

                        Ananth is the right person to answer you query. He bought the bike and put it on highway rightaway. Has done a 1700 km trip already.

                              I did had a small test drive around the showroom before booking so that I could take a decision, Thanks to the dealer, who could go out of the way to give me that ride, but didn't check all the features, just had the feel of engine, riding position and the weight factor.

                              What all other features does it have other than what is mentioned in the broacher.

                              I know @ the high tech-sensors for Fuel Injection, oil temperature, Air temperature, Throttle opening, Crank Position,Air Fuel Ratio, optimum pressure for Air-fuel ratio, Auto on-offf throttle response & the back angle Sensor
                              Digital console which shows Engine RPM, Clock, Speed, Fuel Gauge, RTMI & the personalised message.
                              & Now I know @ parking light & pass light feature too. Parking light like the one we have on cars does both the indicators blink simultaneously.
