I think speedometer reading differs from bike to bike.

In my case I went out for a long ride with my friend who has pulsar 220. There was a difference in the speedo reading of our bikes. ZMRs speedo is lacking behind the P220 by 5 units approx.

while he was riding at 60 my speedo was showing 54-55

You know ZMR has a error free speedo...it shows the actual speed...three is no + - difference..with its speed like other bikes speedo...

Right now i don't remember the technical name but yes there is some sensor for the speedo for an error free reading in ZMR

Buddy, my fellow pulsarian is doubtful about it actually. He wanted to check it. If you have experienced the difference of 5kmph please check the difference in higher speed...

Hey Guys
i took test drive of another zmr
and i found his zmr was butter smooth

& my engine is damn rough

and even he took my zmr for small spin & told me that my zmr is very rough

whats wrong with my zmr ?

what could be the problem

YOU ride his bike and let him ride your bike for few days. After some days you'll see the rough note on his bike and your bike will become smoother.

well i suspect if your friend zmr is smoother then your then i think your riding style may be harsh as compared to you frends or you didnt run up the bike well.

Few tips:

Don't ride bike always with press of Clutch....

Release clutch and acceleration smoothly...

On Traffic Light or so don't keep accelerating bike....

may be u can show the bike to HH engineer.. he is going to be ther at fortpoint mahim today
ALso get ur bike serviced every 2months irrespective of kms done... i got my third service done now at 4k kms

yes they would in a year uhave to get 6 service done to keep ur warranty
