        • Congrats, Really this a good bike. Hero Karizma is one of the popular bikes from Hero. Hero Karizma ZMR is powered with stunning, outstanding graphics on the entire body. It is a stylish and beautiful sports bike. It is a very comfortable sports bike equipped with advanced features.

i am looking forward to buy the new zmr early next year , but i have a couple of questions...

1 - is the 2.5 liter reserve inclusive of the 15.3 liter fuel tank capacity

2 - can the bike be ridden until the tank is bone dry ??(i heard some where that the the fuel pump or something gets damaged if the bike is ridden until the tank is absolutely void of any fuel (even the reserve is emptied))

Yes the reserve is inclusive of the total capacity.
Regarding fuel pump, it is a pump like any other. What happens if there is no input to the pump? Chances are it might get damaged. But what I think is that, as the fuel level goes low, pressure decreases and hence the bike may hiccup and you get to know that you're out of fuel.
However there are no cases which I came across where the fuel pump goes kaput because of low fuel.

Isnt the reserve capacity over and above the fuel tank capacity of 15L guys?
You can ride a Motorcycle any day of the month. ;)
