    Why didn't u ask them to do complete diagnosis in the earlier stage itself ?

    The malfunction light glows when one or other sensor is malfunctioning. Do claim it in warranty and get things resolved asap or you will end up paying big time for spares. If service guys reject to do, shoot a mail to HH.

    My bike is definitely not 15 months old but never the malfunction light has come up. Its done 7k kms and is 6 months old !!

    Sorry, my mistake, its December 2009.
    Regarding complete diagnosis, i kept my bike with service people for 3-4 days and they came up with answers as 'there is nothin wrong', one of my observation is that there might be few drops of water in the fuel tank that must have dripped in while refueling, this might be of concern for the fuel injector... ny thoughts on this??
    Now a days the bike looks ok, even m not able to recreate this error with bike...

      Selling Off ZMR

      Guys with broken heart I wanna ask a simple question what should be the
      genuine price of a second hand ZMR which is few months old

      Reason for broken heart I'm sellin mine so do you guys have any ideas
      about the rate I should quote the condition of the bike is immaculate
      not even a single scratch two services done oil changed at first and
      second service and 3500kms on odo Dupont Teflon coating which will last upto 6 months went
      to a bike dealer he said anywhere between 85thou to 90thou depends on the condition
      when I showed him the bike he said it can fetch near 90thou b'coz of the condition but will have
      to advertise hard in the newspaper etc... The bike cost me around 98,000 I wanna sell it coz in few
      months I'm going abroad and I rarely used this bike and specially after I bought a new car since
      the car is going to be driven by my wife and she
      cannot drive the bike so I'm going to sell it off so any ideas guys about
      what should I quote...

          The thread started with my ZMR.

          However, its been a long time since then and i have sold my zmr today. Good 1 year 5 months old and 9370kms on odo.

          It was a great hassle free bike,

          I am moving out of India and had to take the call

                That's the same thing going on with me i still have the zmr but will have to sell it in coming days
                i'm also moving abroad and my dad wants me to keep the zmr but no one's gonna drive it and it's
                gonna stand in the garage for 2 to 3 years anyways how much did you get for your zmr i'm being
                offered 86000 and it's 7 months old and 3600 on odo

                        I got my white ZMR today. I got a few doubts.

                        1. I got an owner's manual and all other receipts. But I did not get any warranty booklet. But I see a few pages in the owner's manual giving info about the warranty. Is the owner's manual itself the warranty card or do we have something more.

                        2. I can feel the engine heat up. Is that normal? since the engine is new?

                        3. The engine when revved appears kinda rough. Even the gears too. Is this again because of the new engine?

                          Yes,The engine heat will go after 3 or 4th service

                          3. The engine when revved appears kinda rough. Even the gears too. Is this again because of the new engine?
                          Yes,It is because of the new engine.After 1st service the gear shift will be smoother ,Give your bike for first service @ 500Kms and tell them that the gear shift is hard . Also don't rev your engine so hard until you pass 2000Kms,Be gentle with the throttle now

                            1. The manual is itself warranty book. show this book always.
                            2. in the first 100 kms its ok. stop start traffic the tank can get warm. but nothing to worry.it goes off
                            3. the gears are not rough. most of the gear linkages are running dry and clutch lever as well. i suggest u to put some oil near gear lever/wd40.

                              i am again confused with zmr tyre
                              plz frnd post a hi res clear pic with widest tyre fitted in zmr
                              specialy sirac 120 [how much top speed hav been achived with sirac]

                              2. is tyre is fully inline with the rear mud guard . [wide tyres usually gets aligned towards 1 side either]

                              3.i hav seen karizma with very wide tyres in monoshock compartment. any zmr modified r mechanic??

                              4. m45 is best suited tyre we all know for rear
                              but i would like 2 ask ""MOSHIN"" sir if we change the front tyre and put off hands off hadel bar does bike acts going like snake??:P [actually with duro 140 earlier in my zma rear i suffered thi issue]

                              5. post some stickers on side of tanks which looks hh forgot 2 stick them

                              6.post tyre pics with chain compartment cut and right from behind so that we can see hopw wide m45 really looks 8)

                              2 MOSHIN SIR-soon i m getting my zmr WHITE and will make it best one so i need ur experience 2 nourish the tasks
                              . i will make it a real zmr FREE OF DOUBTS
