I have touched 131 kmph on NH 4 while going to Kolhapur, i have felt it smooth at high speed too, its obvious that there will be vibrations at such speed,Replace the words "I have to" with "I choose to" and notice the difference in how you feel.

ya actually by saying stressed i meant with the vibes..i haven't ridden a P220 on that speed so just can't compare both of themOriginally posted by dhiraj View PostI have touched 131 kmph on NH 4 while going to Kolhapur, i have felt it smooth at high speed too, its obvious that there will be vibrations at such speed,Suzuki Gixxer - Current

bro I've touched 121k's myself on my ZMR & still their was more crunch to it..some other day i'll take it above this..one of my friend touched 134k's on speedo which exceeds claimed top end by company so the bike is very much capable of reaching its top end may be their is some tuning prob in your bike which SVC center guys can solve in your bike's next service..Originally posted by jabklHi people my karizma have completed 3200 kms never revved it above 100kms in city so today i decided to revv it to full throttle on the delhi - zirakhpur flyover it's a long flyover but my zmr only reached 115kms on full throttle I was not able to reach 125 as claimed by hero honda I'm a little confused here I did the proper running in and nor changed the tyres or anything I've seen people
claiming 130kms on zmr Though i'm not dissapointed coz i'm not a speed maniac there's not end to that but confusion has taken over is me that Is my zmr different from other zmr's ??? if not why not the claimed speed one more
thing my chain is loose could it be due to the that any answers ???Suzuki Gixxer - Current

I second this thoughtOriginally posted by 111diablo111 View Postbro I've touched 121k's myself on my ZMR & still their was more crunch to it..some other day i'll take it above this..one of my friend touched 134k's on speedo which exceeds claimed top end by company so the bike is very much capable of reaching its top end may be their is some tuning prob in your bike which SVC center guys can solve in your bike's next service..
top speed is also dependant on lots of factors like:
Condition of your bike
Weight
Cross wind
Air pressure
Chain cleaned or not
How you have driven in first four gears when u tried top speedM3:15

Air pressure in front tyre should be 29psi whereas in rear tyre it should be 33psi.... You should have changed oil in first service itself... Anyways next time you try top speed try to rev hard in 3rd and 4th gear before switching to 5th....Originally posted by jabklwell the condition of the bike is top notch never mishandled it and my weight is 94 kgs and 6ft tall when i was drivin the bike there was no pillon that day the weather was not windy at all about the air pressure in both tyres I keep it to 29psi recommended by Honda chain is clean as it can be as I never drive it in dirty areas and I lubricate it after every 700 kms when I was testing it for the top speed it was in 5th gear my bike's been serviced on schedule first service was done on 700kms and second on 2300kms I've changed the oil on second service about the tuning when I asked the mechanic about tuning he said it's fuel Injection no tuning is needed
my chain was too loose so he tightened it nothing else I think depends on the running in period coz
I was being too careful with the bike never took it above 4000rpm Somebody
told me that the bike should be revved hard during running in period.
