Myself and Riyaz were wondering if we did a good decision of coating our bikes...So we decided to put the coating for a test....Watch the below video and u tell us if we did a good decision ????

long ride......

Dear friends,
Done my 3rd service on 8th of july 2010 @ 5048 kms. And as 10 th is a second saturday (ie. A holiday for me) just planned for a long ride...... Just to ride, and to visit some new places....... So took a leave on 9th and i started from cochin at 4 in the morning.....with all riding gears......
Destination- Bangalore and then mysore........... Took the highways.....coimbatore-salem-hosur-bangalore.....reached blore at 12 noon...... The highways.....got an average speed of 100 kmph for 2.5 hours and at the timw i got an average mileage of 35 kmpl....... After reaching blore visited some friends at madiwala and blore univ campus and at 6.30 in the evening headed to mysore...... Just toook a round in the city on 10th.... Returned at 6 in the morning of 11th....took the other route.....through bandipur-nilambur-thrissur- angamaly-kottayam.


Guys, a total of 1267 kms.
1st day- 688 kms
2nd day- 70 kms
3rd day- 509 kms

Fuel charge- Rs. 1500/-
Fuel quantity- 28.30 litre
Average mileage-44.70 kmpl
Top speed achieved- 129 kmph
my odo reached 6367 km...(can go for 4th service by next week)

And for sure my black zmr is also a head turner...... Even a negro couple in blore with r15 chased me to have a look at the bike.....at petrol bunks, they re not convinced when i answered that it s karizma.....

i spotted 5 white 1 red 1 black ZMR in FORT POINT
the black zmr was fully naked no fairing ....no seats ...nothing ...it was only frame + engine + tyres [ svc told me that its a black zmr]
when i asked SVC ...they told a truck passed on it
+ 1 red & 1 white ZMR were in accident job ...& wer waiting for fairings

God help those poor souls who lost their fairings.

Can't guess how many days those bikes will be kept for the spares.

they seem to be ordering on high priority ...but still parts are scarce

Got the first service done today. the fork was lose a bit, so they tightened so badly that i ve to cry to turn the handle. I complained it, so they barked saying "this bike has clip ons so it has to be tight". I was like wt*

Also some engine noise has started even thou they didn't do anything to engine

hey guys one serious problem... after 60 i seriously feel that the bike whines to speed up... i mean i don't feel that smooth initial acceleration i get before i reach 60... its really annoying to me... what could be the problem ? i took it to service center where i complained to them and after it was with them for a day they said it was fixed... But it was not fixed...

Another thing... when i shift gears and open the throttle... i get a 'tak' sound from the accelerator.. i thought i wasn't shifting well so i tried to shift as smoothly as possible.. i even asked an experienced friend of mine to test ride the bike... even he said heard the 'tak' sound when he opened the throttle...

hope u could shed some light on this

Today ...i went to Fort-point to know the status of my clutch cable delivery ....saw 2 black zmr ...ready for delivery
saw another white zmr crashed from right

I have given my bike for 2nd service(2620 KMs) at fort point mahim. I have also opted for Teflon coating by Auto n Care brand

So you are doing good with your bike. I am still in and around 2100 kms.
May be next weekend will go for Second Servicing.

I have heard the name but is not found in Kolkata.

They have a good Review in Team-BHP. Read that last year while researching for TEFLON for our new Car.

Yes Satyajit bike has become smoother now. and after 2nd servicing I m expecting further improvements. Do u find ur handle centered perfectly because I always feel that my handle is slightly tilted towards right.

hows ur zapper Q going... r u using it with tube or tubeless..

Because if I try to find issues I am getting plenty and going MAD.

My WIFE has suggested to enjoy the RIDE & BEAUTY. Only enjoying that to full.

ZAPPER-Q running tubeless. But since you have raised the issue ???

It is observed that TYRE pressure is getting reduced every day.
Previously happened for REAR now it is happeing to the FRONT also.
Reason: There are very little GAPS in between the ALLOY RIM & TUBEs.

Literally gone crazy about that. There is a liquid solution which heels the problem. But still not found in Kolkata.

There has been No ACCIDENTS, No BENDS or TAMPERS in the RIM.
