Welcome friendOriginally posted by hummerrock View Posthi everybody,i am following this thread right from the first post of mehul n due to some technical reasons i couldn't join this thread before but now i have got the opportunity to share my views also .. U people know i was actually encouraged by this thread to get my zmr because i was quite confused as it was new product from hh because earlier hh's fi engines did not do well ..however finally i booked my baby n hence i waited for 2 months n received it in march .. N m very happy with it though i felt some issues but i was ready for them and that was possible only with all of your experiences .. Soon i'll post pics of my zmr by the way it has completed almost 1200 kms n will surely give my experience later because right now its not possible hope you all understand ..
, 1200 kms from MAR-10 to JUN-10.
Very little, I guess. I thought I am trailing behind @ 1600 kms from 16-MAY-10.
You are too great man. I am afraid of you.Originally posted by praveenmemala View PostMy odo clocks 4355........in 29 days......3rd service ..
YASH, Rush it to a dealer. Oil could be a primary reason.Originally posted by sbr_yash View Posttoday when I started my ZMR in the evening. The orange light (PGM-Fi malfunction light) started blinking
and after few minutes when I started riding my bike it stopped blinking and remained constantly glowing.
Now it is glowing constantly when I start my bike. I know I shud take to SVC will take it tomorrow.
Help guys did anybody here hav come across such problem.
We are extremely eager to know. In fact yours and mine are of same age.
Also available outside. The container is exactly same and HH is writen on it.Originally posted by sbr_yash View PostYes its better to change it.
And mind its 1.35 and not 1.75
Might get @ Rs 150/- with discount. I bought two cans few days ago.
Serviced @ 530 kms from service center and again changed Oil @ 1200 km privately.
Read the Page-2 of Service Manual carefully.
1.35 litres @ disassembly
1.10 litres @ refill which is after draining out the Old Oil.
+1 to it.Originally posted by praveenmemala View Posthope the oil to be replaced is 1.1 litre34567 kms and ZMR sold :(

just open the oil dipperOriginally posted by fast_ferocious View PostHow to check the oil level? Do we have to open the lower cowl for checking?? I'm planning to refill it myself.
clean it with cloth
insert it ....then remove it
& check the mark if its above the mark then its ok ...or else you'll need to top up
bike should be on main standJust Me And Her [ZMR]

Took my bike to the fort point (malad) SVC
They knew nothing about it
. They referred ZMR catalog and said sensor has loose connection, a guy came and re-plugged the sensor and malfunction indicator went away. Now its not blinking or glowing.
But I doubt that was so small problem which got resolved just by re-plugging the sensor.

Actually as ZMR is new in technology ....only couple of peoples are trained from almost each HH work Shop...problem arises are new for them....so it will take time to learn and rectify...
Well your problem is sorted out....i think during the service it may have connection loose out....

You can see it from the front. Its on the engine's cylinder just beside the silencer( where silencer is attached to the engine)
It is kind of plug which is attached to engine.
@all
Thanks for the suggestions n support. Yes its true that only few SVCs are trained to service ZMR.
