Caution : Check out the red one which they are offering, might be rejected one from the other customer, hence pushing it. Check it throughly or take someone with you who know @ bike and confirm the condition of the bike.Originally posted by Prithvi!! View Post

Hey Prithivi, you are the one from Bangalore rt??
where did you book your bike? Sai Motors?

Just now the showroom guy called me and said he can arrange Rad if i want it tomorrow, but black is still unavailable.
She was telling like come down and just check out the red, good and all
But even though red look really awesome in flesh the reason i booked black was becasue i am thin and it would hide lot of bulge and also it was the only one which suited my physic.
Still lil confused.Anyways again will be visiting the showroom tomorrow and ask him to give a proper date for black. If its going to be too late i have to think again.
But i cant understand the fuss. Delay over white is understandable as its an unconventional colour so probably company would have planned less units of white. But black? I thought it was the one which the company would be belting out in large numbers. Even last week i was surprised to see no blacks but 5 whites for delivery
Last time when i spoke to the sales manager he was saying like the company hoped for a very conservative sales numbers as it was a premium bike but the response to the bike even took the company offguard and all that stuff.
Hmm donno how long i have to wait more.I should have taken it in Jan itself

Hi mehul and everyone else...
I just checked up with the main electrical dealers over here regarding the lighting systems...
As said before:-
Halogens-
1. Philips vision plus - Rs.550
2. OSRAM Nightbreaker - Rs.900 ( Dim - normal colour, Bright - White ) & Rs.450 ( Pure white ).
About HID, i could'nt find it at most of the shops, so i went to car accessories shops... They had HIDs with projectors... They came in pairs.. Rs.9400 for two... Means if two bikers purchase a kit, each can have it for Rs.4700.. Including projectors, relays n everythin..
Then at one bike mod workshop, he had this solo whole HID Kit for Rs.2000... But that kit didnt have Projectors... Means the beam will spread all across our field of vision... But still could light up everything in front very well, but could easily get caught by the cops..!!
And me bought the OSRAM nightbreaker Pure white Halogens... Got it for Rs.380...
Gonna fit it tomorrow or day after.... Hopefully it will give me a massive boost in lighting when compared to the stock bulbs..!!
Regards,
Gautam..............The Blue flags are flying high....sigpic....Proud to be a Trueblue..!!

as far as HIDs go its better to have them with projectors installed so that the beams properly focussed but otherwise too they are the best. And the prices which were quoted were fair I guess. They always come in pairs."Never recreate from your memory, always imagine new places"

Today got a surprise call from my dealer and was very happy to receive the message from other end "Sir your ZMR has been arrived and you can take the delivery". Last month the same date, I had booked it and today it's here !!!
I could not wait for a second, hurried home and rushed to the dealer to take it. Completed all the paper work and off I was on my ZMR. I was not used to 200+ cc bike, but she got settled in a while and started responding to my instructions very well. Felt bit difficult in the initial response during gear shifting through the traffic, but managed it very well. Now have driven only 8 kms and can only say "it's is amazing". I will be able to give more information on it a bit later, probably after this weekend.
