Regarding the accident, the reason for the skid may not be the rear tyre. With pillion, the weights shift, and you need to know how to control the bike under hard braking. Hard braking (especially with two discs) needs skillful handling of the bike.
Exactly right...this is a spot on reply.... ur frnd didnt knew how to slam the brake with a rear disc...i did tell u manan..just touch rear brake and front brake...and dnt give bike to any one too....

And for once, i hit the 126 kph on the speedo.. Just to see how its like...!!
And to be frank, i did'nt feel the bike to be that powerful, though it is powerful..!! But I didnt have to crouch or anythin to gain speeds till 122 kph...!!
By the way what do you mean by 'Engine opening up'... I have read couple of comments in this thread by mehul or mohsin or someone saying " after the 2nd service the engine have started to open up very nicely... and the way the bike accelerates is just amazing."
Please let me know what it is.. And also, after 2nd service ie; after this engine opening up, does the power of the bike increase than it is now..??
As ur ride more...its gets free more... but change oil well..keep proper air pressure and u r set

            • Manan: Your friend slammed the rear brake and tell you what, with disc brakes its an altogether different story. Correct braking means applying both brakes slowly but progressively and again its a skill you learn with time. He panicked, slammed his feet on the pedal, the wheel locked and you went boom. Its not a tyre fault, so chill. IF that was the case then why would people change tyres?!

with regards to parts, just wait. You need to keep pushing, keep calling the fp guys to source the parts. To get them early, this is the only way right now. Meanwhile, you got lots of time to recuperate Just make sure all damages are covered under insurance and you dont have to pay extra.

              cheers.

It means Night Breaker produces more light then cool blue? also, the light is yellowish in night breaker whereas in cool blue its white...pls let me know on this..i am confused .....

yea he is right its not tyres fault but wrong braking ......for people like you there is a part for disc calles ABS (anti lock braking systym) You can get this from somewhere in mumbai but its not the perfect as the original but it will help you to stop skeeding for 3-4 more seconds to save the bike from skeed or fall .its cost is 500-2000 rs for 1 piece . check it out manan i think u need this stuff
