Ohh.. There is actually nothing much left, for me to say.. Almost everything could be found once you read through this thread..!! Do your run in properly.. I hav so far never crossed 65kph.. n mostly its around 55 kph..Originally posted by neo88 View Postin 3 weeks probably i might get the delivery, if you can give atleast few tips, do's and don't, any issues etc in the mean time would be useful for me.
Dont keep the bike under hot sun, the gloss and shine will gradually fade i think.. Then what... No issues thus far.. The petrol tank and the side cowl getting heated after the bike is stopped after running 40 kms and all... But that too has been addressed in this thread.. That the problem will disappear after the first service..!!
By the way guys, please reply to this fast..!!
I want to change the bulb of my ZMR... I want even more light at nights...
So planning to change the bulb..
Found two today...
1) Philips Nightvision - Rs.550
2) Osram Nightbraker - Rs.450 And Rs.800
Which one should i go for..?? Does it give a significant boost in light intensity compared to the stock bulbs..??
The shop guy said the philips light is more whiter than Osram.. But Osram ( priced Rs.800) Gives more overall lighting..!!
I did not like the fact that the Osram gives more whiter light in Bright mode and more yellowish light in Dim mode..
Someone Please reply to this soon..
So that i could buy the bulb tomorrow itself or hold on to the stock bulb..!!
Also... Are the current ZMR owners in the thread ( Lyk mohsin, manan, saminder n all ) happy with the lighting of the stock bulb..??
I know its atleast at par with most other indian bike.. But whenever i drive my bike after riding the p220 having projectors, i feel so disappointed that my bike should have had a light like that..
So atleast i want more light by changing the bulbs..!!The Blue flags are flying high....sigpic....Proud to be a Trueblue..!!

Both Philips and Osram bulbs are good engouh, and if you like white light go for Philips VisionPlus.
Try putting a relay which would allow the bike to power up the bulb to its full potential.HH Karizma (Current) || CBF Stunner PGM-FI || Honda CB Unicorn Dazzler
Honda Aviator || Kinetic Flyte || Kinetic Blaze || HH Splendor

Good one Gautam..see the stock bulb aint good at all. The bulbs you have selected are the best halogen ones around, so either one of them will be great enough for you. But again, if you find halogen lights still not powerful enough I say switch over to HIDs. Sumer from the thread has fitted one on his ZMR. And its the best. Stock halogens even the 60/55w ones are 'strong' enough but nothing comes close to the hids. Umpteen guys have setup HIDs on their ZMAs and now ZMRs perfectly. If you have the money, HIDs, otherwise the ones you selected.Originally posted by gautamsankar View PostOhh.. There is actually nothing much left, for me to say.. Ya.. i heard about putting in a relay from my friend too..Originally posted by ravi@17bhp View PostBoth Philips and Osram bulbs are good engouh, and if you like white light go for Philips VisionPlus.
Try putting a relay which would allow the bike to power up the bulb to its full potential.
But how is it done.?? I asked a nearby mechanic and he said there is no need for all that..!! Maybe because he dont know how..
Anyway.. thank you ravi Bhai..! !
Nice..!! I had enquired about this HID too.. But one of my friends told there is no point putting in the HID Without having the projectors because all the light will spread to the sides...Originally posted by myg124 View PostGood one Gautam..see the stock bulb aint good at all. Guys a small update:
Just now the showroom guy called me and said he can arrange Rad if i want it tomorrow, but black is still unavailable.
She was telling like come down and just check out the red, good and all
But even though red look really awesome in flesh the reason i booked black was becasue i am thin and it would hide lot of bulge and also it was the only one which suited my physic.
Still lil confused.Anyways again will be visiting the showroom tomorrow and ask him to give a proper date for black. If its going to be too late i have to think again.
But i cant understand the fuss. Delay over white is understandable as its an unconventional colour so probably company would have planned less units of white. But black? I thought it was the one which the company would be belting out in large numbers. Even last week i was surprised to see no blacks but 5 whites for delivery
Last time when i spoke to the sales manager he was saying like the company hoped for a very conservative sales numbers as it was a premium bike but the response to the bike even took the company offguard and all that stuff.
Hmm donno how long i have to wait more.I should have taken it in Jan itself
