  • Congrats Gautamsankar. Enjoy the ride.

Do not think that you get 68kmpl at 55kmph, there are lot of questions about this RTMI, how useful it is. Just ignore it.

    • The RTMI is pure nonsense, instead of it they should have put a gear indicator. Far from giving an accurate reading it doesnt give a decent reading!! Just ignore it and check the mileage the old way..tank full to tank full.

Mods: Can I request your presence on this thread for a moment. There are too many newbies coming in and they dont know what to post and when to post and despite several requests, the same questions come popping in making this a repetitive thread. Its kind of irksome at times. Apart from the good discussions, please put in a small instruction regd posting to all of them. Rest is going fine.

so thats y i said that zmr is the best indian bike oh... ya also can tell you that ninja is not indian made ..and i didnt consider it in my post

and for discover (100cc dtsi) and pulsar (135dtsi 4valve) in that image is not in 220cc segment so they are not considerable here as this thread for zmr ...

i want to ask 1 quiestion that in uk u can get a ninja250 in 3500-4000 usd but in india it is 3 lack (nearly 7000-7500 usd) ...why is the difference is this big in india and uk ???? this sad thing for most people becase most indian people waited for ninja and expected the price under 2 lack..

so zmr and r15 is the best indian bikes today

Aggar is barr digest nahi hua toh Amchoor khaliyo!!

Get yourself a good pair of tyres and a nice helmet! Pls post some pix of your beauty, now there are 3 white zmrs on the thread!
              Thanks Mate..!!
Ya i have to go through the manual thoroughly today... Had a few project work n stuff so couldnt quite go through all those yesterday..!!
              I have already bought a helmet.. AGV...4.5k...
Ya have to change the tyre too...!! But i'm not quite ready to cut the chain guard of a brand new bike..!! MAybe after sometime...
But im already impressed with the handling and road holding of the bike with the stock tyres, though im yet to rev the bike even to 5k rpm... But i tried grounding the footrest and it came off pretty well..!! So kinda happy with the stock tyres..!! It'll take atleast 2 more weeks for me to cover 2k kms... i cant resist this temptation to rev it hard, but still, i will..!!

About pix.. My digicam is damaged at the moment..!! Will the mobile pix do..?? Then i will post it today itself or tomorrow morning..!!

Praising simply because it roughly tells you your riding habits, even on cars its always an approximate. But it doesnt come close to being accurate hence not reqd and since it throws up ridiculous values, its nonsense. A gear indicator would have looked much cooler.

With regards to the zmr, well I think it maybe a nonsense for you. ZMR for me has been a delight, a Karizma at heart

                              • Hi! Guys my name is Rahul, would luv to categorize myself as a biking freak. Currently owning Unicorn 09 model. I am planning to get a new Karizma. However I am a bit confused whether I should go for ZMA-R or ZMR.
Reason - I am not able to justify myself for shelling out the extra bucks for ZMR. I went through many reviews and quite a few number of people were of the opinion that there is no significant increase in power, the bike is a bit bulbous from the front (no offense to ZMR owners), there is only a slight increase in mileage even though PGMFi is present.
I would like to know from owners of ZMR whether it deserves the price tag (1.04 Lac on road @B'lore) ? Which one should I go for?
