    Tubeless tyre

    From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Tubeless tyres are pneumatic tyres that do not require a separate butyl rubber inner tube.
Traditional designs of pneumatic tyres required a separate inner tube which could fail for a number of reasons, such as: incorrect tyre fitment, or friction between the tyre wall and inner tube generating excess heat causing a blowout.
Tubeless tyre technology does away with the need for an inner tube thereby increasing safety.
In a tubeless tyre, the tyre, which has an inner lining of impermeable halobutyl, and the rim of the wheel form an airtight seal, with the valve being directly mounted on the rim.
If a tubeless tyre gets punctured, air escapes only through the hole, leading to a gentle deflation of the tyre. Conversely, an inner tube could potentially burst like a balloon, leading to a rapid deflation of the tyre which could result in sudden loss of control of the vehicle. A liquid tyre sealant can be added to tubeless tyres to prevent deflation. Additionally, it is easier to mend a tubeless tyre puncture using an easy-to-use puncture kit.
thanks acg, any specification on tyre itself differenciates normal & tubeless . 100/90 -18 and ...... ( only on the stock MRF tyre, because different manufacturers may be having different methodology ) what is mentioned on tyres that differenciates tubeless & normal tyre ?

anyone does know about these kit and how to use it ?? it is really easy to do puncture repair at home???

I have one for my Car...but not for bike...i think the same kit will work for Bike tyres also..it easy...just put the provided rubber from the kit into the puncture area with an needle type instrument...and punch it hard....then cut the remaining rubber with a cutter (provided in kit)...that's it...

I have raised it because even when I was noticing the white ZMR in the showroom, I could not help but notice some dirt that accumulates on the edges of the sticker. It was very hardly noticable but I fear that it will be a problem in longer run. While the black ZMR should not have a problem because the balck color will camouflage that. Looking for feedback from owners. Specially white/yellow color owners

Probably yes, peeling off colour must be issue with white ZMR and also must be with yellow. Because sr. manager of one of the dealer in pune had told me that company has asked them to stop bookings of white for few months, till the issue of the white colour is sorted out. and hence he rejected my booking. and hence I booked black, but at other dealer who was closer to my residence. and hence black and red are selling like hot cakes.

Mr ACG: welcome to the forum Before you proceed and post more posts, I would heartily like to inform you that this particular thread ISNT meant for discussing whats the difference between tube and tubeless tyres( are you a noob??)

Secondly, we expect you to post wisely and discuss more about the ZMR than something as mundane as tyres.

Lastly, please google and acquaint yourself with forum posting tricks like multi quoting etc etc..

Manan and Neo: Guys am not a mod but its your responsibility to use multi quoting instead of multiple posts. Its very simple and how many times need I remind you of it?? Be a little reasonable..

I have already used it in the post above this. I do use it frequently, but still if i have, i will see i do not repeat it. On this page yes there are 2 posts that's one at 8:45 am and the other at 12:30 pm. So they were different, and lastly this one at 3:00 pm, which I should have avoided but i could not because i wanted to inform you that .......

................ all the wait list for black above me has been cleared by my dealer and now it's my turn and he is expecting a black in the next lot, and who knows I may get it in less than 45 days against 90 days what he has committed.

                  • ZMR booking in Hyderabad/AP

My friend (for whose bike I put up the sale ad) went to HH Mody Motors to book ZMR&they are saying he has to wait till May even to book!
They have pending orders&not receiving stock from company also it seems-poor chap was all set to book it today.
The worst was-he was offered a red ZMR at Rs.20K premium over the cost of the vehicle!
Now we want to take this up seriously with HH, so I need your help on:
                    1. Senior official contact email ids in HH
                    2. Any other showrooms in AP where they take booking?
                    Quench my thirst with gasoline!

I say don't email, instead post a letter to them. They anyway get a lot of hate and love emails daily! so doesn't make sense, instead find out the regional sales head, grab his address and just register post a letter to him. This is a much much better way to attract attention than emailing..
