fairing not damaged , only scratches ... i got it painted ... part of the zmr sticker got damaged and the whole hero honda one too gone ... the one in the pic is not the original HH sticker

Sorry about the accident. But, I do not see any damage in the pic.

Edit: saw your post. You better leave it like that. The repairs you have done are excellent. Do not bother about replacing the cowl. I am sure it would cost a bomb.

yea i think the cowl will be costly .. but what about the stickers ? ... does HH sell stickers alone ? are the stickers for zma available ?

i also contacted few local stickering shops ... but they say its not possible to get the look of the original stickers

Nithin: your ZMR has now become a CMR!! Cant make out any damage buddy, looks as god as new. I say stay in touch with your dealership and tell them to call you as soon as they receive spares, because problem is spares arent readily available still. Rather than sourcing it from other parts of the country( and shipping a big piece of plastic may end up cracking it) be in touch with them. They will help you better.

Will you describe how did it get damaged??

i was on my way to college .. in a hurry ..some guy was crossing the road and his hand hit my right mirror .. i breaked but the handle wobbled and the bike fell to the right side ... the engine got turned off as soon as the bike fell ( the banking sensor is working

)

I must be getting my white ZMR within 2 weeks...
By the way is there such a massive difference between the Michelin M45s and the stock MRF Tyres..?? From what i read over here i felt lyk that.. but could not quite get the measure of it..!!

the michellin m45s are the lightest and gripiest tyre.....they are lighter than ur stock mrf tyre... so just go ahead and put them.. i am runing front rear both on my white zmr

Hi I am new member here but following this post since 1st week of jan10

me always looking for the on road pics of ZMR (not the pics at auto expo or showroom) ,and while googling i find this post on xbhp and after that i'm following this post

at last ...manan got his yellow zmr ....congrats

i booked a black zmr at Nasik nearly month before they told me that it will take 3 to 4 months for delivery and they got only 2 zmrs a month and there are 16 more bookings alredy

im waiting for my zmr as many other members

ooopss .. can't help on such occassion, but you are lucky that the fairing didn't had a major damage. While booking the dealer informed me the same thing, to take care as much as possible of the fairing. It will else put a burden of almost 9-10K if we had to replace the fairing.

Congrats buddy !

me too in the waitlist members list. ( have booked black in Jan, expected in Apr, 3 months minimum wait period for black in Pune too )
