Its only new to you buddy. Overdrive has clearly mentioned that its indeed 2 secs slower to a 100. Now you and me can debate which magazine is right but would never reach a agreement. I think Overdrive is better than Bikeindia.
And above all, its not as if you pulsarians are going at full throttle all the time right...?? Atleast for 95% time we spend on the bike, we go below 100 for sure... atleast a major major portion.... ( u may b an exception )
Why do such posts come up. Ok in a city 90% time is spent in traffic so do we all get Platinas or Passion plus for us? Theres a reason why we buy performance bikes and it should fulfill that. Are guys buying a Ninja at 33 bhp mad? Their homes arent besides highways, they also travel around city only.

And both overdrive and Bike india says that ZMR cannot match a R15 on the track but the 220 will struggle to keep up with ZMR coz of its inferior dynamics compared to d ZMR..!!
R15 is indeed the best handler but ZMR better than 220 in handling? Can you please point me to the source? The 220 v/s ZMR video said otherwise.

A bike which has got 4 bhp more and almost 15 kilos less is able to gain only such fractional advantages... That speaks tons about the difference in quality and the depth of Engineering..
      +1000, your want backfired.
A bike which is 220 cc still makes the same power output as a 180cc whereas another company with same displacement (220cc) churns out a good 1NM torque and 4 bhp "faaltu". Really speaks for depth of engineering
Wonder what would have been 0-100 timings had it been a 21 ps bike instead of 17- Fastest Hero Hond"ian"

And BI has given the lowest figures for p220 and the highest figures for zmr than other magazines. Overdrive specifically mentioned its 2 sec slower. And so does zigwheels.
And also please tell where they said 220 struggles to keep with zmr on track?
Also the average human walking speed is 4.51kmph. And 6.5 is 2kmph more.
Overdrive is the magazine with the most mistakes... It even says zmr has 6 gears... Just check the Roll on timings on the left side... it has 4th 5th and 6th gear......
plus... Overdrive 'specifically' doesn mention its 2 secs slower... the problem here is, u r sayin just lookin at the table... Read through contents carefully in ur favourite Overdrive magazine.. they do 'specifically' mention here that zmr does 0-100 in 13.5 or 8 secs... but in the table it is given as 14.5 or somethin...
plues... read throught the entire contents.. in the first few pages again they 'specifically' say that ZMR Wont b able to keep up with R15 on a racetrack, but p220 better watch out because we feel ZMR will be quicker...

n sorry for the slight error in normal walkin speed... ... consider the guy was runnin a bit late..

        Cheers dude..

It is cheaper and more powerful. No need to cry that ZMR is 2 sec slower than a P220. And, you know, P220 is a full 5 sec slower than a Ninja.
Hello sir( i respect you coz others do and also because your a senior member)
I have a pulsar 220Fi, so im not crying 220 is cheaper/zmr is expensive etc. And one thing, i have a friend's zma with me and have been using it for 2 months along with my 220 (will be using it for another 1 month). Also i have 3 other honda two wheelers at home.. So i dont hate honda.
          @gautam
Well in that case, even bike india mentioned zmr has drum brake rear.
And i was talking about the overdrive video comparo of the two bikes where they mention it. And about track, they said they 'feel', they are yet to test it on track..

Hahah.. no need for reinforcement or nythin... not gettin into a debate..
I like bike india more... their reviews are more indepth n detailed...
and about the dynamics...i ve read in both overdrive and bike that zmr is a better handler... but that 220 has improved over its previous edition.. only in some video post on youtube frm times now or something i heard ' 220 has imrpoved vastly ' over its previous edition...
But overdrive do say 220 feels rock solid on highways..

and your argument about performance bikes is kinda true... but again those platina, passion thing is invalid here.... most of us on regular riding conditions throttle between 30-80 kph... atleast thats my experience, as a person who drives regularly a minimum of 100 kms from cochin city to a place near the airport..

Doesnt matter dude...what matters is the way the bike does its given top end.

Nice run there, planning to get a ZMR eh? Daily touring guaranteed , the thrill of touching 70-80 within secs is what its all about and we buy the performance bikes for that only.

Didnt understand, the way the bike does its given top end? You mean how quickly? I dont know how much time a ZMR will take to reach 126 and am neither interested in it, such figures arent of much use.

Bhai, someone mentioned 0-100 timings etc of a ZMR and 220 are comparable and then rest is history, sparks flew off. Thats it.
220 and Karizma will always poke noses into each others at some point of time.

                    • Sometimes it really frustrates to see people again and again try to prove a P220 is faster even after one agreed that it is faster, and they want to prove a ZMR/ZMA is nothing to ride.

I am gonna put a period here.

                        • They legendary battle of ZMA/ZMR Vs P220Fi/P220DTSi goes on!!!

Any how, P220 is faster than ZMA/ZMR right, then why fight about it? I just belive in how comfortable the engine is at 8500RPM and not at what speed it it. Else 2-Stokes would be a dream.

Zma redlines at 8200rpm. And it will be stress free at that rpm?
