You OWN a ZMR???? Now i'm feeling what is called a heartburn. I went to a HH showroom today and asked about the delivery time for the bike. The guy said booking will start only from next month and it'll take three months for it to be delivered . I'm in Chennai. (Metropolis, Yea sure)

For a Chennaite: Is it the same for all dealers across Chennai or did i go to the wrong one?

i booked my zmr a month back but showroom people dont have any delivery status ....

Called up another place and they said the bike will arrive next week and delivery will be within a month. But i doubt the guy knew what he was talking about.

U booked a month back and have to wait for 2 more months???? I can understand your pain.

I'll get to know by the next week. In the mean time, the R15 is starting to pull me away. Though it is a different class, it falls into the same price range.

Am new here, though have been visiting the site for more than 5 years now...

So Me too have booked a ZMR...in october... Pearl White is the colour...
But to be frank am still confused bout which colour to go for..
here at the showroom 4 bikes hav come... 1 white , 2 black n a blue...
mine is the second booking in d city...but the 1st guy also has booked white..... they said, if i want black then they'll give it frm the first lot itself... else i'll have to wait till the second lot comes...
the thing is...they aren even delivering the 1st lot.. sayin it ll take atleast a month...Grrrr......so wen is this second lot gonna come..?? n if ders no white in that then..?? Gawwdd..!!! Me too slowly gettin driven away by d r15 now.... coz i'll b going abroad next june... wats the point if i cant even get to drive d bike for 6 months...
By d way... I loved black colour... The famous 'disproportionality bw frnt n back' which is being tokd about everywhere, which me too smwht agree with, is less obvious in all black... But the bike looks atleast 2/5 th better in real compared to d pics....
but the thing is, black wont get noticed easily... i want myself to get noticed...haha.....

i saw red, white, black n blue so far..haven seen yellow yet in any of the showrooms....hmmmmmm....... GOD knows when am gonna get ma bike....
HH ppl seriously suck at their management n strategies in publicising and delivering bikes.... it was d same wen i last bought cbzx too... even now four of my frnds went to 220 DTSi juz coz o the longgg delay in ZMR delivery.... Even the procedures of R15 with imported engine was much much faster.....

By d way.... Which colour you guys think is the best..??
I felt the most superbikish looks is with black.... i cud find the fireblade like appeal somewhere in it...especially when viewed frm the frnt and frnd side angle......

I like black too. I dont like too much attention, so i didnt like white as much as i like black. In my opinion, white is the most eye catching and it is my second choice after black.

i have booked a black karizma zmr...and am a little sceptical abt my decision now after reading thru various forums and da reviews of the bike...all seem to be non satisfactory...so to sum it all up just needed to knw frm ppl who own the bike is the new karizma really worth the money...does it deliver to expectations..

If you like the bike go for it,it definitely is a good one.If you are confused prepare a list of bikes that you prefer,test drive all of them and then book the bike that you like.Everyone has a different opinion,some may like the fi but not the fairing(true in my case).
For instance i have a unicorn.Everyone says why did i buy a unicorn,its slow,hevy and outdated,i always get left behind during group rides cause everyone else ride bikes above 150ccs but trust me,nothing tops the comfort of driving it after a strenuous day.Even after driving in a 2hr bumper to bumper traffic she doesn't loose her breath.
PS-i might book one in mid jan,i don't care about the reviews."I like it I buy it" as simple as that.

thanks tht really helped ... with all the things hovering arnd wid it givin a mileage of 38 -40 .. and same as da zma - r and for the 0.6 bhp ova zma -r being compensated by it being 10 kgs heavier...all in all was considering to cancel it..... asked da guys at fort point mumbai but they said they wldnt till next month so booked it coz as it is da waiting period is 4 months.. cantwait for the test ride..and den book ... i liked da r15 rode it but me being 6"3 was having problem in gear shifting...dunno if dats just da case wid me but surely felt ucomfartable..

R15 is one bike that a rider must adapt too.It does take some time,but once you get the hang of it its no looking back.Its one bike that teaches the rider to ride.And yes the waiting period is whats making me think twice.

It IS uncomfortable for ppl above 6 feet though there are a few ppl who ride an R15 happily and are quite tall too. velociraptor is right, it just takes time to get used to it.
