I knew you would reply! Heres taking on your answers one by one..

[QUOTE=Devilpulsarian;325148]All in all I had only one thing in my mind......

What will you do when you will buy this bike......

    > Simple: take it out for a long weekend or week ride.

xbhp server keepes( whats the meaning of keepes??? need to refer my oxford dictionary. My bad!! :P :P :P) beware...

Anyways nice log, nice looking bike. White seems to be the pick of the colors.
A little exaggeration but thats ok.

Nice nice nice! Exaggeration for what??

BTW in one pic I saw the bikes tyres removed or something....?

that was when we were changing the tyres.

Second, when are you going in for the ZMR...

    All in good time

Finally i have managed to see this thread...Its raining here in Mumbai... untimely.. 40 min train journey took 1 hour 25 mins..rick broke down in pouring rain and had to walk home to see the thread of my ZMR....I can say my day wasnt that bad...Yup guys its the first ZMR in Mumbai, first white across the country .

Mehul has been with me all the way from coaxing me to come to showroom to see the bike, when i was not willing to go.. waiting for me till he showed me the bike and then next day booking too .

Then the wait for the bike... bike lands in mumbai... wait for RTO approval... damn..we were so pissed. Mehul even went to see the bike in godown and got me first shots....i did not go saying that now i would see only on delievery day......

Finally the day ...Nov 7 2009... we avoided all show at dealer end and just got bike... swapped tyre....changed number plate..removed saree guard.... had a bite and rushed to take fotos With the ace and pro mehul beside me... clicking was never tough

More fotos coming for sure....awesome clicks we have on our end... I thought you are going to put them here Mehul....anyways attention is drawn naturally.. the questions are amazing.. infact all of them have asked me
how much more u paid to get this bike? we are planning to sell our bike too?
we were intending too but long waiting period so i bought 220/r15

I have had people driving on my left..on my right... going ahead ...stopping....taking u turns.. crossing roads in parking in groups... fun at times too much attention ( which i dnt like much)

Over all I am happy.. and we keep sharing our experiences with U all brothers

        The rides just begun!

There he is, the man! Welcome bhai

Oh yes, how can I forget the day..7/11 in short. And yes, people pestering around was a little irritating that day on. But we enjoyed every bit of it.

Kinda getting the feeling that you are giving a biased opinion/first ride report/review. Half way through whatever you are saying, makes the reader feel that you are only gonna say good things about the bike!!..

I happened to watch this video earlier. The guy from the cnbc autoshow does give some very very valid points. The ZMR is slightly better than the old iteration.but not significantly. The reason probably is that the old ZMA-R is already so damn good. So making a significant improvement on an already good package is not an easy job. so obviously now people start to question the pricing, since now they have nothing else to talk about.
And i read again and again how much you are emphasising that its a perfect touring machine. But so is the ZMA-R. even if the ZMA-R gives an avg 10 kmpl less than ZMR, it will take 60-64,000 kms of riding the ZMR to neutralise the initial extra cash you paid on your purchase.
So forget the brand war between ZMR and P220. ZMR has already lost it to ZMA-R. Sooner or later everyone is going to realize this fact!!

@mvg-i will be booking my bike by jan onlyas am not sure where i will be getting a job. i might get one in vasai, that means a good 85 to 100km of daily running for which i require a serious mile cruncher.
