This is for DP: With regards to ZMA sales, I doubt they have really gone down in the recent years, I still see em going around. It still is one design that still looks so awesome even after 6 years of its debut. The only paucity has been of spares which HH should address as its high time now!"Never recreate from your memory, always imagine new places"

How much less was oil ? I mean how much ml did he add to make the level correct ? if it's about 100ml there's nothing to worry.Originally posted by anmol_1990 View PostWELL.......what i read a couple of pages back about zma/zmr versus 220 .....is the same gugugaga....which i have been reading since 220 launched in 2007..... its quite boring now
....... all 220 owners ur bike is the best ok....
..
we love our zma/zmr no matter how slow they are , or how bad they are......we just love zma/zmr
.....
if anyone wants to do a 220 vs.zma pls go to orkut...the best place for ppl who wants to make biased comparisons
....
ok...now focussing on the zmr.....few days back i complained that my zmr is giving only 38-40 mileage......so i finally went to SVC....and told them.......and i was surprised to know that engine oil was a little low
...... after first service... the stupid guy who serviced my bike even didnt fill the oil completely.....i was so much irritated

......
the service engineer told me that the engine was running a little hotter and thats why it was giving reduced mileage......
now it has gone up to 42 mark...hope it will touch more....
but I give a suggestion u to all bike owners that do check ur bike carefully while servicing....these craps can just do anything...

..
after a fight with svc ppl the person who serviced my bike is removed.....im also writing a complaint to hero honda about this.......
hope this has not made any damage to the engine....
BTW, talk to dealer and support for re-instating the poor chap who was sacked, it's not a nice move by the dealer if it was for the sake of one incident. Give it a try, you'll get assured support from dealer/svc staff etc etc in future for your 'good heartedness', do the good
PS : Complain to HH without fail...and see how you'll be treated from next time onwards !?

HH still produces Achiever, Glam-PGMFi inspite of ultra low/poor sales. ZMR is flagship model and will continue to be in market no matter what their sales numbers are, FYI, Zma-R sales is increasing every month (as per local dealer).HH is huge company and can manage few 'low volume' bikes easily as far as the bikes are good.Originally posted by Devilpulsarian View PostHH launched ZMR due to falling sales of ZMA and direct competition from R15 and Pulsar 220....else they would have continued it till eternity.
Now with the ZMR adding to the competition, ZMA sales would further drop. At least 50% of ZMAs prospect buyers would be lured by the ZMR (if not more)
The deliberate holding back of the bike only implies to the fact that they want to finish off ther available stock of ZMAs and then go with the ZMR all guns blazing!

Leaving the 1-lack premium flagship model to a lame mechanic who doesnot know how much oil to fill is completely the dealer's fault. A complaint to Hero Honda is definitely needed.
In fact, I faced many times this problem. The mechanics who service 100 cc bikes sometimes are given the ZMAs. They do not even know how much oil it goes in the engine. Instead of .9 liter they sometimes fill 1 liter thinking that it is bigger engine.

before 1000 km i ride the bike below 80 km.....there were 3-4 ocassions when i touched 80 km mark.......after that i released the thorttle to ease down speed to 60..... in many forums i have read that during running in period there can be ocassional bursts of even 100 ...so i dont think so doing 80 km....was any issue....Originally posted by myg124 View PostFirstly i want to know what speeds were you doing in your running in period. I did find you quoting 80kays which shouldnt be done actually.. Was the oil not changed in the first service??
with regards to the zmr deliveries, its really a very very sorry state. But i think once the waiting period eases up things will be absolutely fine. I hope this time around HH does a good job of spares availability n all..
and regarding the oil , it was not even showing its mark on dip stick
..
u can imagine how much low oil there was in engine.....today im writing to HH vasant kunj for further action.
i must have thrashed the guy badly who played with my 1 lac machine....it isnt a joke...........he could even added water in place of oil
....
imm very much irritated after this........"Biking is Divine"

^^^^ 8 months??
now they are seriously getting comical (in a sarcastic way...) I spoke to the same person yesterday and he said its 4-5 months max irrespective of the color.... I am sure its not due to quantity that the waiting period exists but due to some thoughts of HH management..... !! god knows what!

Hero Honda Showroom in Pune, Wakadewadi is completely vacant, not even a single bike for display of any model, they have exhausted all the stock and now are waiting for new stock, but becuase of the strike, they are not able to cope-up and are not guaranteeing any deliveries. guys from various locations can check at the dealers and check if this is because of this newsLast edited by neo88; 11-26-2009, 04:45 PM.Dream the impossible because dreams do come true !

Same here in B'luru, saw Nikhi Motors doing renovation work of interiors, not a single new bike in the showroom/basement garage.Originally posted by neo88 View PostHero Honda Showroom in Pune, Wakadewadi is completely vacant, not even a single bike for display of any model, they have exhausted all the stock and now are waiting for new stock, but becuase of the strike, they are not able to cope-up and are not guaranteeing any deliveries. guys from various locations can check at the dealers and check if this is because of this news
