    I have a small problem too.....someone told it about it earlier, i think....but i havent seen the answer....thats why i am putting the question here.... I have nt felt the heating problem while riding.....but after parking for sometime, when i come and sit on the seat, i feel an enormous heat on tank.......the engine is not smoking after 1st day.......what may be the problem?

    i have completed 300 kms in within 28 hours after delivery......maintained 4000rpm.....
    started riding a motorized cycle on a chetak classic.
    Learned to accelerate on Y RX100&135.
    Learned not to fall down, the patience to heal wound on knee and to ride long on a classic Pulsar 150(still running)&180.....
    Planning for more dream destinations on a new ZMR

        I (and many) also obaserved same heating problem but it was for first 300 kms after that its ok. For you it should be fine from now on.

        I guess you should keep around 3k rpm till first service done.

          Don't worry on this issue, it will come down as you complete 1k kms or will also come down a bit after your first servicing. No issue if you even extend it to 4k rpm. but stick to 60 kmhr for first 1k kms.

                  Your pocket will be a good lighter after the repairs. How much cost estimate did you get? And how much percentage will be payed by the insurance company? Is

                  One silly doubt in my mind: Is FIR needed for claiming insurancE?

                    guys one small problem.. me and my friend(who's a bit fat) rode my zmr on this stretch of land and the bike maxed out at 80-85 kmph I was shocked..

                    I remember doing almost 105 on the same stretch of land with this same fat friend of mine on his pulsar 180 !!!!!!!!!!!

                    What's wrong with the bike ??? I really felt disappointed with this result.. I've almost done 2500 now... what might be the problem ??

                      Yaar the part is not available and the showroom fellow could not tell when he can get one....

                          they have given a quotation 0f about 14,000 .......
                          fibre - 50%
                          metal - 70-80%
                          from insurance.
                          no therz no need of fir for it unless any third party is involved

                            They Come From Hero Honda Plant ...Which Is situated Near by delhi

                            I did my 3rd service + fuel Guage problem solved + front fairing replaced + rear cowl replaced

                                You mean that your zmr is not crossing 85kmph in the 5th gear with a fat pillion? Something seriously wrong with your bike. Check the air pressure in the tyres and try again on a longer stretch with the same pillion and check the top speed.
