even i am bored to go to fort - point
they suck

any other SVC in south mumbai
even rear KARIZMA sticker are peeling
i told them for the same
and they told that they have ordered - usual excuse [ dont know how many days it will take for stickers to come from delhi i had told them 3 months ago ]

by the way
i saw water inside the tank cap due to rain ...what to do ?

Actually I was very busy in the last TEN days. Annual OFFICE meeting & COUSIN sister's wedding made things hectic.

But generally speaking I have observed the FIT & FINISH of the Bike is not upto the mark.
May be I am wrong as comparing things from the old days of CBZ in year 2000 when it costed around 65K.

Myself being an ECONOMICs guy I understand that money value has changed in the last TEN years.

I ride safe, easy (like uncles) and follow the 4K RPM (60-65kmph) rule.
Have done around 950 kms in 29 days. The tight feeling of the parts is no more.

I repeat I am not complaining or bringing the engine scenario. May be I am too finicky or OLD chap of the block.

Meanwhile my BIKE is no more a VIRGIN angel. The service centre guys have put a deep gash/scratch on the right.
Though checked it during delivery after first servicing on 02-Jun-2010, they disguised it using some makeovers.

Ironically since it was on a corner servicing bay it was done by some inexperienced dumbo on the right corner.
I was concentrating more on the left since a Senior mechanic was explaining, working and detailing me on the bike.

Yes lesson learnt in a hard way.

The Teflon and polishing guy dropped in the afternoon that day when it was noticed.
Polishing and Teflon neatly done by these guys for Rs 650/-
Got one Microfibre Cloth (Magic Wipe) for Rs 150/- and One Step Polish for Rs 50/- Everything for Rs 800/-


The person came to my residence and did the job. Fantastic job done. Will come whenever I give him a call.
Service for free. Besides will get TWO full polishing in a YEAR. In fact he has volunteered to heal up the wound also.

Check the drain out pipe. Clean the water by absorption with dry cloth.

+1 to Worrisomebear. In fact IIRC his bike is now almost SEVEN months old. (Mohsin correct me if I am wrong)

As a fact every TWO months servicing is required as a thumb rule.
This is the reason I said earlier things are not that good now.
Actually even without riding things are not holding up.

zmr is smooth and running fine......
Yesterday i my bike just slopped down........ I visited my friend's home yesterday. I kept my bike in his front yard. It was raining all the day and his yard was filled with sand type soil.......after getting more wet the ground just sucked my side stand and (hopes) it slowly slopped down to the ground......we didnt know it........i found it later after the rain stopped.......... I could nt find anything wrong as it ws night......and in the morning, when i inspected, there re some scratches near the HERO HONDA and ZMR sticker......some just touched the stickers too...... Its not highly visible.......but traceable that there re some scracthes........ I have a service on the thursday...... (doing 2nd service on 2200 km as i have to participate in the tri state g2g at yearcaud.) ....
Can I get painted it soon.....? Hope i have to change the stickersa too.....so i ll have to wait. Right?

Just pull the drain pipe, it must have got a bend during servicing and already suggested to you, sell your bike .. this happens only when you don't follow discipline in first few thousand kms. I am sure this is the only reason + you had few mishaps. So now you have to accept this no other alternative other than what i have suggested above ...

but the clause in manual says for II servicing "2500 kms or 1 year which ever is earlier" ....

Drain pipe is near the Main stand.

do not play around the pipes etc.

Some inexperienced kid rammed into my bike today and i fell off and bent my handlebar..

Recently had my second service done. now i hav to go to the service center again..

will they be able to remove the bend properly ? to the extent that'll make it seem brand new.. i'm worried i'll lose that wonderful handling i was so accustomed to from my zmr..

Nothing happened to me except for a few small scratches.. I think the flairing's taken a hit... The bike vibrates like crazy(especially the right sid flaring which took the hit) when i rev higher than 4k rpm. Some clamps of the flairing might have broken..

Can some one post pic of this...as it will be helpful for all ZMR owners

Guys has anybody here noticed that the ZMRs handle is slightly tilted towards right.

In my case it was, when I visited the SVC, a guy there told me that it is normal in fact, he also showed me two other zmrs parked there. But I insisted to correct it. Then that guy took my bike for a ride and corrected it. I think he must hav done it by hitting the front wheel to any solid object... the traditional way...
