Now maintain it properly, ride safe and take care ...Originally posted by manan View Post
highly impossible ... have you ever crossed 85 alone .... try that first ... if not go to SVC immediately and get it thoroughly checked .... of course check the tire pressure as mentioned earlier before you hit the doors of SVC .. by the way have you done your second servicing ? it is due with the figures you have mentioned and if this is the result after second servicing then really something is seriously wrong !Originally posted by abhishekk89 View PostLast edited by neo88; 06-03-2010, 09:46 AM.Dream the impossible because dreams do come true !

well i checked.. the tyre pressure seems a bit low.. what should be the ideal pressure for zmr ?? i'll get pressure checked today..
i've done in excess of 100 once about an month ago when i was riding alone..
i'll go get the second service done in a few days..
other than that do u think there might be any problem ?? with the engine or any other part ??
thanks again for all ur help.. its highly appreciated..

29psi (F) and 33psi (R) Rider & Pillion
see page 27 of the manual provided with the bike.
If you haven't checked it after delivery your rear tire must be having 19-20psi of air pressure, check ??? you will find it the same what i have mentioned. this is what we have observed with few others including me .... after delivery..
Probably with your inputs it must be tire pressure issue. But get that sorted out in the second servicing. have you stretched above 5k rpm in your first 2k kms ??Last edited by neo88; 06-03-2010, 05:00 PM.Dream the impossible because dreams do come true !

got it increased to 33 as u suggested.. i read the manual only to change the welcome message.. haven't read anything in it at all
above 5k rpm ?? well i've done it a few times thought it would be ok to open the throttle after 1.5k kms.. should i have not done that ??Last edited by abhishekk89; 06-03-2010, 08:52 PM."Power, Beauty and Soul - quintessential elements for automotive perfection" - Aston Martin

on the third day
dear friends......sorry for not uploading photos.....was busy with office schedule.......will be uploading tomorrow morning.......
My sweetheart finishied its 500 kms today within the 72 hours.....will be doing 1st service on the saturday......
She surprises me at severl times......in corners......in case of pickup.......if the black colour is turning heads likethis, what will be the case of white.
Today, when I was coming from office ( i am riding 126 kms everyday to go to and come back from office) a guy with a pulsar 180 (I was riding a 150 till last week) just got a glimpse in his rvmb and tried to tackle in me in a corner. As I cant run above 3 or 4 k, i was confused what to do........but as i am a lover of cornersa always...i just tried to do the best as i always done in pulsar........the result.......still I cant believe...it was easy and perfect.......that guy was embarassed.......just stopped what he wanted to do..........
i filled nitrogen into my tyres......but i think as they re doing to other bikes, they have filled 25psi and 33 psi to my tyres.......but i feel a small discomfort......so should i change the tyre pressurre as recommended in the manual?
.Last edited by praveenmemala; 06-04-2010, 12:13 AM.started riding a motorized cycle on a chetak classic.
Learned to accelerate on Y RX100&135.
Learned not to fall down, the patience to heal wound on knee and to ride long on a classic Pulsar 150(still running)&180.....
Planning for more dream destinations on a new ZMR

You bet !! I had my exams last month. Hadn't paid any attention to my bike. Did not even wash once the whole month. Now thats really bad for a person who'd spend his whole sunday morning washing and scrubbing the bike till it sparkledOriginally posted by anmol_1990 View PostWell 11 psi, i wonder how the bike was even able to reach 85kmph

So that's it .... try now
In order to increase the life of your engine it's recommended that you avoid doing that in first 2k kms. But this is ECU controlled engine, i suppose this will not be a major roadblock, I think you have solved your issue. Get back with your feedback after doing so.
By the way, how did the bike bear the load that too extra load you were carrying at the pillion on 11 psi. I am zapped
. Keep a track on your rear tire.... check if it's losing pressure or not. I still doubt carrying that load at 11 psi might even result in absorbing small nails on the road which might have been thrown off at 33 psi.
