I said that because people would assume that I ride real slow (like uncles do) thats why my tyre never skid

In my 2200 kms, even i haven't experience skidding, even in heavy downpours i have tested on my ZMR. it's good and even on turns i do go bit down, gives me comfortable grip ... I do sometimes heavy braking, yes this should be both rear and front, if you push hard on only rear it will surely skid. So guys try pushing both equally and check the difference ...

      • I have done 2500 on my bike... Riding in all types of roads and all kinds of speed I never felt the tyre skidding even if I have braked it real hard.. or doing turns @ 80kmph+

        @ abhijitw
May be you are doing braking on a road with dirt patches or something like that....
You could not help but, skid in gravel or dirt or sand...[less friction]

+1. Use both brakes 60:40 ratio to be more precise.

            • i've done almost 2250... i agree with a few here... the stock tires are good enough...

its been good everytime expect for once when i fell down because the front tire skidded.. that was doing a heavy down pour and i jammed my front brakes real hard precisely when my front tire was over this small puddle of mud

but most other times i've found the tires to be satisfactory... i'd stick with them..

              • Vinayak, congrats for the white baby.

All, the stock tyres are not that bad as we think. They are good for normal riding . Though I agree that sticky and soft compound tyres like R15 would improve braking, especially wet.

                • both zma-r and zmr stock tyre performance is poor when it comes to grip and breaking specially when wet. either that is due to small size of tyre with respect to bike or technical thingy like soft or hard compound

Learned to accelerate on Y RX100&135.
Learned not to fall down, the patience to heal wound on knee and to ride long on a classic Pulsar 150(still running)&180.....

                        • Top Speed

Guyzz I dont know wether someone has posted this earlier..

If someone has done this jsut assume this is continution to that post...

What is the top speed you have done on ZMR and did u feel that it is the apex or there is still more to come off the bike.. and have u felt the bike stable at that speed or there is any turbulence

                          For starts:

Yesterday I have done 120kmph on Airport road here in Hyd.... the bike felt stable no vibrations, it is rock solid @ 120....

It has reached 115kmph like breeze took some time to reach 120kmph... and I think thats the max it has got

Or given more straight road may be it has more to come; this part anyone can comment on and clarify my ambiguity ....

I've never tried to touch even 100, as I've only done 650 Kms till now.

But a couple of times I touched early 90's, once in strong crosswinds too, but never felt any sort of turbulence.

And airport road is a nice place to test the topend. lolz
