one of my friends suggested me that one should start your bike for 5 min every 15 days so that battery remains charge.Originally posted by anmol_1990 View Post

New members, congratulations for the new ZMRs.
A humble request to you all, please do not quote big posts. It really hurts to read the forum. Instead, you can quote a pic or two; but the best thing is to address by the member name and put your comments. Thank you!HH Karizma (Current) || CBF Stunner PGM-FI || Honda CB Unicorn Dazzler

Guys, Please cooperate, make this thread worth reading, many of you who have bought ZMR, must have gone through the threads from scratch and surely you must have been benefited by the information that all this post in this thread is carrying. Make sure you all keep the same momentum and other who are prospects in line are benefited.
Keep you posts limited, send PM's wherever possible, use Multi-Quoting, especially discussion between the two goes on for a page, please avoid this too.
If you want to plan your meets create a new thread for ZMR owners G2G or merge in the existing G2G's already available for different cities. Please not in this thread.
Once again from me too humble request. Avoid the things mentioned above and "above all" avoid SMS language (It's not allowed in XBHP ).... Make this thread interesting ...Last edited by neo88; 05-06-2010, 03:21 PM. Reason: Still Find one post with SMS lingo, after writing this postDream the impossible because dreams do come true !

Hello friends its Vinayak again...........
Monday Riyaz got his bike serviced and he was forcing me to come an have a ride from monday evening only but weekdays office tension and moreover his house is 20kms so it did not happen......
But tmw Riyaz is going on a long trip to his hometown in andra around 400+kms from Blore so, he did not listen to any of my reasons and forced me to visit his place at any cost......It was 6.45pm and i was still in office in electronics city and i've to reach RT nagar around 27kms and heavy traffic still i made it to his home by 8.10pm...
As soon as got down from my bike i got the keys of the angel and wow I was in office from 7am to 7pm and 30kms riding from my office all the tiredness was vanished after 5 min ride our hard efforts of the 2 trips had come up very well the engine has opened up very good now and the gears are buttersmooth and the bike is now confident like never before we took it till 70kmph today on airport road for 25kms.....it was like heaven i could not control exceding it ,I just love the bike more now i cant wait for bike now really i'l screw my executive tmw to get my bike ASAP or else i dnt knw what i'll do......
The ZMR is really above all no doubt about it....
By the by i forgot the most important part of the story today we got the tank filled fully 2nd time after first service on monday...
He had done exactly 233kms each and every km in city and it took 4.71litres of petrol so 232/4.71=49.47km/litre of petrol isn't is amazing only a ZMR with so fuel efficient engine only can live up to the expectations like this.....I was very much impressed by the mileage guys....He said his avg speed was around 40-50kmph on free road
I can't stop writing about it it'l run into pages so i'm ending it here...
By the by i wan't to tell him some thing about Riyaz he is a damn crazy person and very passionate about bikes....Rather i take more care of his bike than him so he gives me his bike without any worries...He is a very nice person and U know guys we talked first time on 21st april and within fortnight he's my very close friend...He has very good knowledge about bikes and ZMR is his 3rd bike till now.....
Guys please pray that next time i should be writing a travelogue of my own bike with Riyaz
please guys i'm waiting with my fingers crossed for it like a small baby waiting for its gift....
K guys happy riding on ur ZMR C u soon......

Yeah, the mileage is awesome. I have driven about 1300 kms now and only filled the tank 3 times. Its giving me more than 40 for sure. Once, I was at a petrol pump and the attendant asked me "kitna mileage deti hai", I said for fun 50 (I had not measured mine till then, but had read Neo's post). He was shocked! He then turned to his friends - "arrey, yeh pachaas deti hai". Everyone was as startled as well.
The bike at high speeds feels very stable. I have started hitting 75-80 consistently now.(about 5k rpm).Last edited by adabass; 05-07-2010, 11:50 AM.

Running 600 - 1150 - mostly between 50-60 km/hr @ 4-5K rpm : Got ~52
Running 1150 - 1685 - mostly between 55-65 km/hr @ 4-5K rpm : Got ~47
Running 1685 - ---- - mostly between 60-75 km/hr @ 4-5.5K rpm : Probably getting ~43-44
After refill can exactly tell for third slot. testing will get over after this trial and then would opt for the optimized option from the three slots.Dream the impossible because dreams do come true !
