2. 780 bucks = almost 15 liters. and the SVC must have put 1-2 liters in it during the delivery. Yes that's the capacity of the tank 15+2 is the capacity of the tank. Should take you around 600-800 kms without refueling.

Ride, hopefully once I'm out of my exams fuss. I'm not even getting enough time to ride it. Only 80 Kms driven in 48 hours (thats too low, given how eager I was for the past 6 months to ride it).

I didn't get any free teflon coating while the delivery. They're asking Rs 500 for it with one more coating free for next service.

Is teflon coating really that useful for the paint and lasts for 6 months? Or it is a waste and should I go for some other option? I park my bike in the open in my college. So would like to protect the shine of the paint.
Someone please enlighten.

Someone please enlighten.

The guys at Service center DO NOT DO teflon coating..what they do is just wax polish, which you can do on your own with a Rs 40/- wax polish bottle.

There are some places who do genuine teflon coating in hyderabad. I need to check if they have shifted the place.

TEFFLON coating from Dupont is done at JSP Honda at Kukatpally. I will find out if they do teflon coating for outside bikes. Or, at least, they will give us information where teflon coating can be done in city. Most probably I am going to JSP honda tomorrow and will enquire.

teflon coating doesn't applied during delivery or so FREE...you need to pay extra for this...in my ZMR they have done 3M Teflon coating...it looks fine to me...need to be done again in 6 months ....after coating do not wash with any kind of detergent soap/powder...this will last long...

im my city they ask 600 rupees with one coating now and other after one month...............what is the logic of waiting for one month for the second coat???

and how can i come to know if they are really doing teflon thing and not some other waxing polishing job???

i dont know why they were asking you to second coat after one month...mine was done and they have asked me to re-done it after 6 month..it will not charge extra its in same price..

As for the doing waxing/teflon...you can check the polish...it must be of teflon one...like when mine was done i check it it was on 3M teflon polish...

i recommend autoshine teflon coating at esi...i have been his customer since past 3 years for all my cars and bikes...excellent work done by a guy called pavan...

P.S: its actually a US based product with name changed for lighter taxes

he does 3 hours work for a bike.applies 3 coats and differnt types of liquids and polishes for differnt kinds of materials and parts...my bike completed 20k kms and its still looks like a showroom babe

one thing is it way more better than those cheap teflons at respective service centers...costs 500 with 2 free coats...but we have to do our part of work too..every morning we just have to wipe the bike with those good quality cloth sold in petrol bunks...and i clean the chain guard once in 2 days so bike need a wash only when i need to clean my chain..thats like once a month
