using a dry cloth will damage your paint like no other way..

u must use a clean cotton cloth damped with water and clean it.

wax/polish every two months is enough.....i use maruti genuine polish which is xcellent u get one bottle for 175 only which will last u for 1-2 years depending upon use. u can buy it from any maruti showroom.

You can try for an Formula 1 car polish....

A short blore owners meet....

It was April 26th and Riyaz’s wedding anniversary on which he decided to get his white angel delivered ,we reached sai motors at 5.15pm and when we got the bike out of showroom it was 7.30pm ,before leaving the showroom Riyaz asked all the Xbhp members of blore to gather at my place i.e BTM layout. So while we were coming back it was a delight to watch all the road users be it pedestrians,cars or 2 wheelers everyone were watching Riyaz on his angel and I was happily watching it while I was on my bike. After coming to my home we got freshened up and all the Xbhp members started pouring at my house first sagar came with his friend Veeresh and then Rahul and Prithvi came.



Though it was first time we all were meeting up we all jelled together instantly. Once everyone were there all of us were checking each others bikes and sharing tips to take care of our bikes.

After half an hour of chitchatting and riding all the bikes we decided to move on to a photo shoot. There were 4 bikes (Prithvi, Riyaz, sagar and rahul ) and I am still waiting for my baby.

All of us had tea and then moved on to a open ground nearby where we spent the next one hour doing photo shoots of their prized possessions. There were 4bikes of which 3 were white and one was black. We parked the bikes and had a round of photos and also videos riding .
I am attaching very few pics from Riyaz's cellphone since it was a unplanned meet and it was night time the pics quality is not so good....

I have to use car now to traverse and its very hectic to travel to far away places due to traffic .. So i don think i will be able to make up until i get my baby

Small trips covering 323kms in 24hrs....

Thursday evening i.e 29th april myself and Riyaz had planned to do a night drive and cover some kms on his baby but since he was busy in his office it got failed and we decided to change the plan to Friday evening and We said together if a storm comes tmw also we'l have a long ride and it came true.

On friday Riyaz did not even got his number plate ready and by the time he reached silkboard the time was 6.45pm so we went to a shop on the way and got his number plate ready so it was 7.30pm and there were heavy clouds in the sky I was getting tensed but Riyaz remembered me what we had decided the day before "Be it a rain or a storm ,we will go for a ride on the baby" and we started our journey.

When i checked the ODO the baby had clocked 200+kms and to get it serviced on monday it should clock atleast 550+kms......

Since we had to clock almost 300kms before monday we decided to do atleast 100+kms on friday night.So we decided to go into Tamilnadu from blore and took NH7.After crossing electronics city we got some cash for emergency and Riyaz handed over his baby's keys in my hands as he was very tired....A big smile came on my face

I took control and had gone hardly 5-6kms the rain started slowly and as we went on after a few kms it started to rain heavily and i was not able to see anything on the road through my helmet and we decided We'l test the bikes to its limits today and continued our journey...

While going on for more than half an hour continusly in 50-60kmph we passed the TVS factory near hosur and we saw many trees were already on the roads due to rain ...Since it was a busy route riding in rain was one story and handling the lorry drivers and the highway traffic was another But i noticed the ZMR handled evrything very well without complaining...

Since it was raining heavily Engine Heating issue cannot even be thought of and after covering some 40+kms and crossing Hosur we stopped at a Reliance petrol bunk which had a KAMAT hotel and Riyaz did not even have his lunch so we both had some IDLI's and tea and went for a photoshoot we could not carry a digicam so had to take snaps frm Riyaz's cellphone.

We started again and decided to touch Krishnagiri which is some 85kms from blore.As i was riding the bike i felt the bike has changed all of a sudden It has become a little smooth and responding me very well during overtaking....
It was a nice experience for me riding on a rainy night with very limited visibility Oh i really enjoyed it a lot, our plight was very bad the rain went inside our jackets and helmets also since i had to remove the visor to judge the road sometimes....We reached Krishnagiri and decided to get back and took the next u turn ,we had covered 83kms already and it was 9.45pm we halted for a tea and removed our jackets and relaxed for sometime.

Now Riyaz got the bike and after few kms Riyaz also said to me the bike has really changed...He also enjoyed the ride really well and overtaking had become a lot easy now and the traffic also had reduced as we were towards blore....I was having a jolly good time in the rear seat enjoying the rain as it was a pain riding the beast below 60kmph u cant control urself....
We again stopped at Hosur to give the bike a break after that i snatched the keys and got back the bike and i rode it for the rest of the journey we were completely dripped and were feeling very cold...On our way back we decided to take the Elevated expressway and when we got ticket the time printed on it was 00:00 hrs 1st may 2010(I'll try to add a scanned copy of it later) this i observed when we got home It made the whole journey very special ....
We reached my home at 12:15am and we had covered around 176kms
The things i observed during the ride was
1)The lightning of the bike is good for city but not sufficient for the highway.
2)The bike really handled well even in very slippery roads and the ZMR is really very stable and "ABOVE ALL"

We had started loving the bike even more now and next morning i went to Riyaz home, we washed the bike and wax polished it and it was in all sparkles...It was 3pm saturday and we decided to touch Andra today and who can stop us....

It was a sunny day exactly opposite to the last journey which we did, we started from his home in RT nagar towards Blore international airport and I snatched the keys from Riyaz and took the sparkling beauty in my hands Today we were feeling a lot free coz we did not have our wet jackets on us and we were enjoying the nice weather while riding,But today i was exceeding 60kmph very often and it was very hard to control ur heart not to exceed it.We stopped after BIAL covering 30+kms to have some coconut water and got some snaps of the beauty..

Continuing the journey we left Chikaballapur behind and went on and on covering around 65+kms it was already 5pm and i did not wanted to ride in night today and Andra border was another 15-20kms away so we decided take a U-turn and stopped at some village nearby and had nice hot hot mirchi bhajjis and aloo bondas.

Riyaz took the bike and we started back now he stopped suddenly after 20kms and started abusing me to ride the bike as it was very tempting to ride the bike today but i decided to sit back and enjoy the scenery...While returning in the signal everyone's eyes were on the bike....One beautiful lady lowerd her car windows and staring at the bike as long as the Signal was red we were enjoyin it.....
So after we returned we did around 150+kms and the time was around 7pm,the ODO was showing 573kms ....We had achieved our target so we heaved a sigh of relief and congratulated ourselves....

From 30th april 7pm to 1st may 7pm we had covered 323kms on the baby and it was ready for the first service.

friends i got a fellowship from my company and i have to go to banglore for 2-3 months from 15 may......

so i wont be able to ride my zmr. what precautions should i take for storing it.

i will be parking it inside my house.......

will the battery get discharged? if yes then how would i start it. my zma-r has kick so im not worried for her

but for sure i will be logging into xbhp []

heyyy, i booked over there on jan 20 , got delivery on 23rd april.....

I think it will start in a single ignition even after 2-3 months!

But to disconnect the battery before leaving the bike, I have no idea.


But what if I wash my bike every 15 days?? Does the polish survive the wash?



The 50 ml bottle costs only Rs 25/- . But I have no idea how many times I can polish with 1 bottle.

Got my first service done @680 Km now my bike is more smoother ,gear shifting is become butter smooth ,& calculated the milage tank full to tank full iam getting around 46KMPL

People out there in Bangalore ... why not have a 2nd round of meet ?

if u wash the bike with home based detergents then u have to polish it again......so you can buy mild car wash shampoo specially for car and bike wash. this will help you to retain polish even after washing.
