The OUTLAWS SOUTH INDIAN ROADTRIP..!!

Just completed the south indian Roadtrip of 750 Kms with half of our gang..
Comprises of 2 ZMA-Rs... 2 P220 Si.. 1 P220 Fi.... And My ZMR..!!!
Man , The ZMR Absolutely stole the show... On Every front..!!
We did miles of Comparo.. And someone over here, Anmol ( Who owns both ) i guess, was the one who commented ZMA-R and ZMR behave the same and the advantage comes only during overtaking..!! -100 on that..!! Almost everyone was in awe of the ZMR and it is one brilliant piece of machinery which is a step above its previous version..!! and the most surprising part was that, post 95kph mark, the manner in which ZMR Closes in on p220 and beats it is absolutely amazing ( But had to stay on its tail till 100 kph on all the drags we did... and when my speedo was showing 100 kph, his was showing 117 kph )..!!! And one of the 2 p220 owners asked ' Is this bike really havin all those 21 horses ..!! And ya i dun wanna start off another debate here..!! All of us did the lengthy roadtrip and drag and everythin real time and got our verdict..!! And mileagewise, again ZMR Topped the charts with 6 kmpl above the next highest scoring machine which was surprisingly , for me, the 220 FI..!!
And i was the one who commented earlier that ZMR Doesn feel that powerful... Now only i realised that its just that it 'Doesn' feel powerful.. But it actually packs more than a punch..!! In Love With my ZMR..!!

I highly recommend it above any 200+ cc bike to any of the premium segment customers..!!

well dude yes i own both zma-r and zmr and have done more than 5100 km on zmr and 4000 km on zma-r. i also do trips like delhi-chandigarh ,yamunagar, delhi-sirsa,hissar , delhi-gurgaon, faridabad.

but yes i stand by with my comment, i really dont feel any difference in both the bikes except for the crisper throttle response and smooth power delivery when overtaking. nothing else.

may be my zmr have some manufacturing defect.

Bro i would like to know a little bit more about the drag you mentioned.
I can see that there are 2 p220 DTSi and 1 p 220 DtsFi which were also dragged along with you . As you written you were on their tale till 95 ok fine.
What happened after 95? did Zmr overtook P 220s ? by the way P220 has more top speed than ZMR right? so if the P220s were not restricted by the Road or Lack of driving skills it is very unlikely to happen . Can you just elucidate a little bit more on that ?

By the way dont forget to write a trip log . We are eagerly waiting for that .

I took the delivery on thursday ;-)
Had taken two days leave.
Now in running - in period
Dont some 250kms and i am just loving it.

As i am writing this, still feeling to run away from office for a short ride and come back ;-)

Its plain AWESOME feeling ;-)
As of now no modifications just checking the stock machine ;-)

And its so nice to see everybody giving second look on the road

I too faced some minor issues like fuel light blinking (when there was > 7 litres of fuel) or the initial fairing heating etc etc. I must thank you all guys for posting everything here.

I had read the entire thread before taking delivery ;-)
and the to do list was a printout in my hand
Had told the showroom guys to do all the polishing and fittings in front of me itself
And took the number too : KA- 51 - V 7575 ;-)

Guys; post a pic of ur bike..... and wat color it is

well 220 top speed is 140 + km/hr...........and its pick up is greater than r15 and zma, even every motor show, magazines have reported 220 winner in that aspect.

for sure zma is a good bike but i doubt the riding skills of the 220 riders with you.

the heating issue will be resolved as u put more km(arnd1000) on the bike.

i called them on saturday & spoke to uma she said the what ever december bookings are there they have deliverd all the bikes except white for white it is 3 months only
