Karizma ZMR ride report and first impressions

    ^^^HH launching newer version of ZMR when most of the first lot bookings are yet to be delivered.

    Is this confirmed? Someone on this link said that he had confirmed it with a showroom in Delhi.

    What's cooking??

    Something is really fishy, as HH, with such a huge(possibly the biggest in India) production of motorcycles, is just munching MONTHS.. for delivering this particular model.
    From variable Bhps to a constant 17.6 Bhp.

                    Quick question:

                    Why have the deliveries of ZMR stopped? My friend is awaiting his delivery & its over 2 months. I heard there were some design flaws with the oil cooler & the bike overheats. Also some problems in the FI. How far is it true?
                    Biking is not my Passion, it is my Religion!

                      Buddy..there is no stopping of ZMR booking....Here in Delhi it is fine...i have been riding bike from more than 45 days...cover 1000 KM....no issue found on Fuel Pump...or in Fi...or in Oil Cooler.....or over heats...or in starter...yes bike heats during initial period...but it goes after first service or in running of 1000 KM...

                      Fi works very well....even i am getting 46 of mileage...isn't it great...

                        He is awaiting bookings, not delivery!
                        Yes, hearsay is that there are some design flaws in the oil cooler, gearbox & the bike overheats, so later lots have been stopped till the niggles are ironed out, hence no bookings in Hyd atleast.
                        But funnily I saw a white ZMR on Saturday morning, maybe from the 1st lot!

                          No No.. This guy is a colony kid.. He paid the full amount in december but dint get the bike yet. So getting frustrated.

                            I was talking about Deliveries too...The showroom near my home is delivering bike in almost every week...even when i book my bike on 9th Dec., he was giving me bike in same week...but i didn't take it as i need a manufacturing & registration of 2010...even after that on 1st Jan and then on 7th Jan they offer me bike for delivery...but again i reject due to same reason of 2010...finally i take it on 17th...

                            However, for white color waiting is high...

                              Other than the rumers in Orkut there are no problems reported in Xbhp regarding this.

                              One of our Xbhp member and an extensive tourer Anant have a white ZMR here in chennai and he has been in to touring ever since he go the bike. No issues till date.Anyway he will be the person to comment on this authentically but in my knowldge he completed the run in with a 1700 km tour and even then there were no issues.

                                my bike has done 4500 + km and have no issues, just a little heating issue during first 0-500 km period. else no problem regarding starter, fuel pump etc........ i daily commute delhi- gurgaon- delhi(aprox.85 km) for office without any niggles
