Gearbox
Guyz i am screwed up big time
There is problem with ZMR gearbox.......................
Let xplain you whta the problem is
I am not at all getting 1st gear..............
i am able to get to 2nd gear and other gear but then i cant get downshift.......
However if try real hard then sometime i do get to 4th , 3rd or 2nd gear but not the 1ST GEAR...............
i am really scared .i know i do have warranty but how can somebody have gearbox issue in 300 km old bikeComment

Manan since technically the bike is still in fortpoint's possession can't u press for a new bike altogether. The odo reading is a lil mysterious too( changing from 9 to 0) \. Can't be sure if they haven't used your bike and been ripping it. if it was not registred then they wer ready to give another zmr
now my bike is in mumbai central showroom & its covered
n now they wont open it untill my delivery

Yes we have something to learn from the instance of Manan and many others which are shared in the thread earlier.
I would urge and Need help from "The exisiting owners" to give us some guidelines, checklist and some do's & dont's while taking delivery. Some checklist and guidelines during the servicings separately like on 1st, 2nd and so on. and others like some basic queries.. from users too can also be a part of this.
I have also booked the ZMR and i am getting worried. Don't know what I have to undergo in the road ahead. This would be of great help to me and people like me if you all can contribute in this.Last edited by neo88; 01-12-2010, 06:19 PM.Dream the impossible because dreams do come true !

Yes,
Some basic dos and donts and checklist would be very helpful so that we will not have to face any issue that is noticed after the delivery
