Was visible from your riding bro. Ok dont laugh at me but i got my L license just yesterday and this is the first time i ventured out into South Delhi on my bike in this maddening traffic. As i caught the glimpse of Black ZMR, i tried to come close but you have better riding skills than mine.
i try to keep my bike in top shape.....i did teflon coating to it just a week back......and i cover it when not in use, so that the bike looks younger even when it grows old.
Black looks good only when its clean, i also give my black bike a round of good wax polish once every 2 weeks to retain the shine. Teflon at HH showroom? Hope it wasnt just a wax polish, the PBK here had cheated me
@coolboy hope to meet you aain in similar fashion.,
any how buddy where u live in delhi.
Similar fashion, will stop you this time. I live in Dwarka and first time coming to South Delhi i was trying to manage and take my bike back home scratchless which seemed a tough task.

Let me ask the usual question . what is the mileage you are getting?
and what about the ground clearance? will the engine cover it hit the hump if we drive over it fast? i am riding Zma and i never faced any problems with ground clearance but seeing ZMR i was thinking whether its ground clearance is too low than ZMa.. by the way i am also planning to take one Zmr soon

No issues what so ever till now. Did a 5 hour - 350 kilometer continuous ride (Bangalore - Chennai) No heating issues at all!!

Covered almost all terrains in my last trip: National Highways, State Highways, Country Roads, Off-Roading, Gravel , No roads, Just stones - You name it - The Bike proved it worth.
Also, I did not face any ground clearance issues.

Handling is top notch and was eating the corners easily even at higher speeds (80-120 Kph) And most importantly Breaking is pure awesome. Front and Rear disk does its job marvelously well.
The disk braves saved a couple of lives on the highway too

The bike feels a tad heavy at times, And slight wobbling on heavy cross winds. And with a saddlebag it feels more of it. The lighting is the only factor i consider as below par.
Could have been better, 35W aint enough. May be OK on the city, But a definite No - No on the highway.

Gear shift, as always on a New karizma is a bit hard - Still it is hard to get the bike to neutral. Engine is so refined, Butter smooth on the run - You will fall in love with it the moment you turn on the engine.
The exhaust note is also pretty cool. Pick up is excellent, The bike has enough torque to pull up from as low as 30 kmph on the 5th gear to 122 and above on the same 5th Gear!

Absolutely No vibrations till 7000 RPM. Engine is butter smooth, Heavenly refined and a pleasure to ride. I hit a top speed of 122 on the Odo at around 8000 RPM, 5th gear.
The bike starts to vibrate past 7k RPM / 110 on the odo and at top speeds it feels a bit uncomfortable - though we can get used to vibrations at such speeds.

Did my First service at 490 Kms in Bangalore. Changed the Engine Oil - Hero Honda - 10W30 SVJ - 210 Rs. Checked the filters / adjusted the disk brakes / tightened the chain / lubed it and the servicing is done!
Was charged 210 Rs. for it. Rode another 1300 Kilometers after that service - as said No issues till now.

Most funny part in the whole thing is the RTMI: The Real Time Mileage Indicator. It gives a value based on the last 10 seconds riding pattern.
At time i get 13 Kmpl and at times 196 kmpl when u open the throttle the value decreases and when u close it the value increases.
As per the manual - It will show any value between: 0.00 Kmpl to 199.99 Kmpl.

And for the main Positives from the Bike:
            • Handling / Breaking - Clip ons With Front and Rear Disk
            • RVMs - Rear View Mirror that really shows what behind you - Not like other fairing mounted RVMs
            • Console - Crisp, Beautiful Display with clear values. Digital tacho is a welcome move but i would have still preferred a analog one revving till 10000 RPM.
Neat editable Welcome Message / Fuel Indicator / Trip - Odo Meter.
            • Power Delivery / Engine refinement - The bike feels stable even at high speeds, yet refined - No vibrations, No engine noise - No over heating and stays as it is for a long time.
Exhaust note is also good, which i personally likes more than the ZMA.
            • Full Fairing - People think it is a Dhoom Bike Few ask why it is heavily modified, few like it - few don't. But it is definitely a good looking one in flesh than at pictures.

And for the things that could be improved:
            • Headlights - 35W suffices for the city, Not for the Highway / Nigh riding
            • Tyres - The Stock tyres does their job well - No doubt, But not extremely good. I would stick to the stock ones for the first 10000 Kilometers, since most of my touring would be on a Golden Quadrilateral / Highways and not much of Off-roading.
For other touring purpose i recommend you go for a better set of tyres, as it provides more grip, comfort and a better looking rear
            • Service: Though HH Showrooms take more care / Interest towards ZMR owners - It tends to degrade by time and quality of service will be a question mark, mainly w r t being a FI Bike.
After the first service, My rear disk's breaking wasn't good enough as they supposedly tightened the brakes!

Please bear with me for some more days as i haven't yet processed the pics. Will upload the same over the weekend. Thanks for reading.

For ZMR, 3-3.5k for the initial 300-400 km and 4-4.5k for the later 500 km would be better.
yep of all the feedbacks, would see that will keep it below 60 & below 4K rpm. Thanks by the way.

Later as of now it feels so much less stressed. I think yep the engine eases up a lil bit after having crossed 500kms and even better after 1000kms.

But yes, keep it under 60 till 1500 kms atleast to get the max out of the bike.
Yes, thanks a lot, will follow it. I want to extract the max out of the bike and i did it on splendor too. Using a 97 splendor till now and yes it's still working like a brand new bike.

Still, once again, keep this in mind..

Since the ZMR is a big bike, do the p.d.i yourself.. look in depth for scratches, check the nutbolts, everything across the bike.

Secondly, you dont need to wash it daily, just keep it well covered and clean it with a soft cloth if reqd. This totally depends on the place you are parking it daily, your use etc.

Thirdly, as you mentioned rev the max in every gear after 1k kms..i would say no. You wont want to rev that much as the engine just opens up by then. It will be vibrations from all around. Just keep it under 4k rpm and use all the gears. If you run-in till 2000 kms it will be better. So, keep it under 4k rpm till 1.5-2000 kms and things will be great then.

Enjoy your ride, and ride safe. Which color you going for??
I have booked black on 11th Jan and dealer has informed me delivery in and around 3 months. I don't know what the problem in this city out of the 7-8 dealer, they have offered ZMR only at 3-4 outlets and each one is delivering only 3 ZMR's every month i.e 10-12 ZMR every month in the entire city.

what is the delivery period he is quoting brother ?

I visited 3 of them from which I have booked at one. The dealer had atleast confirmed me he would deliver in and around 3 months, others were not even ready to give committments ( may take 2,3,4 can't commit, monthly plan changes, and all that ... this colour may come not ....), even with complete payment in advance....
