outta my zmr ? no way i wouldn't dare modify it... actually building a bike from the scratch... got a splendor engine.. bullet forks(which we got it altered to get the larger rake angle).. designed a custom frame for this bike now assembling the components.. been a tough week this one.."Power, Beauty and Soul - quintessential elements for automotive perfection" - Aston MartinComment

its the same... ..bike has done 4650kms....mileage is arnd 45-46... just oiled the bike with new engine oil....rain water has been washing away lubrication...no other issues as such...oiled the chain too..Originally posted by manan View Postsplendor engine for chopper

700+ kms done, cone set gone !!

4 th service
my odo reading is 7100 on the 47th day.... Getting an average mileage of 46 km per litrestarted riding a motorized cycle on a chetak classic.
Learned to accelerate on Y RX100&135.
Learned not to fall down, the patience to heal wound on knee and to ride long on a classic Pulsar 150(still running)&180.....

My Fuel Pump Problem....
Hi All,
I had been to Riyaz's place and my ZMR refused to start we tried it by giving a break of 1hr or so but stil no music from the engine....So next day my showroom people arranged some technician from a service center near Riyaz's house and he dismantled the whole bike and stile it did not start...I had to book a luggage auto and carry my ZMR to service center...Next day that is today they checked every thing and told me the Fuel Pump the Filter kind of thing near the gear leaver is not working correctly and needs to be replaced but no stock so told me to wait for 4-5 days i called the MD of my showroom and gave him nicely so he arranged the part from somewhere and they fixed my bike...After that me and Riyaz had gone for around 160kms and i can say no issues till now but i get scared about taking it on a long ride now....Today is 64th day Did 3900kms on ODO....
Guys Be careful get ur bike checked properly before going on long rides....

Reset TRIP while going for full tank. Next time while doing calculate the Mileage.

@satyajitrc--Be really careful coz if its a CARB bike atleast someone can adjust and start it but ZMR no kick and FI no mechanic will touch it...I asked the service center guy what was the problem and he told since the pump was sealed we cannot know why it happened and id any part has some problem they cant repair it they have to replace it thats the problem....Comment

my friend suggested changing my oil from hh to synthetic or semi-synthetic, pls suggest which is best and suitable oil for this?
i red the engine oil thread and think castrol would be a good choice.
