Week back tyre pressure was checked and found to be very low...it was filled thereafter...again tomorrow i feel some wombles during riding...check the pressure and it was again quiet low...

Why the tyre pressure was low within a week? any suggestion

Mileage: Completed my latest mileage test yesterday mostly in city. I got exactly 200 kms from 5 litres of normal petrol. ~ 40kmpl in city. Is it ok?

One small thing I have been experiencing since my bike's fairing was refitted for installation of indicator cover. When the throttle is increased above 4K, there is a slight vibration around the speedometer console area. Any idea ?

ZMR stock bulb is Halonix 35/35 W HS1.

H4 is a straight fit for HS1.

has anybody gone ahead with 55/60 without relay in ZMR ? I even have those bulbs with me, still hesitating as the service manager informed me that this will unnecessarily put load on the battery.

Should increase after your second service. I am getting around 45-50 in the city.

Please visit the SVC and ask him to refit the fairing properly this will reduce your vibrations. Secondly somebody had mentioned about tightening the dampeners. I did it and to my surprise it's really working. After 60kmph to 90kmph, vibrations are now almost nil.

Yesterday evening coming from Sarojni Nagar (near market) ; meet an accident.....suddenly a little boy run towards crossing a road....till i see it...applied brake...and crashed...i fell from the bike...roll on the road...get up...feeling pain on my leg...saw just a minor injury...two/three peoples comes towards me and take me to the side way and my bike...saw by Helmet visor is completely damaged...some more crowd gathered..everyone saying "baacha baach gaya..."....there was police PCR roaming..they too came up..


little boy does not get injured....he just run away...with his brother ( i came to know later)...i call them...but they start running...then me and police person run towards them...they stop...i ask with his brother is he with you...he say...NO and was just helping him to cross road...then i ask where do you stay and with whom you have come...he pointed towards his brother that he is my brother and come with him..police man slapped hard to his brother..."jooth bolta hai...tera bhai hai yeh...abhi mana kaar raha tha"...

i asked his brother to call his parents...and take them to the PCR....there parents come...i told them the whole story..."ab jo hona tha ho gaya ...galti ho gayi...thoda thyan rakenge..." his parents word...they don't even bother to ask me if me got injured...not even seeing what damages has been done to bike...and then they gone...


My ZMR has got scratches on fairing (right side)...right indicator has been push inside fairing...little corner of headlight area get damaged..same for front mudguard...Silencer head guard got lot of scratches.....handle alignment is fine...found little jumping like feeling from front while driving...may be some alignment of front wheel get disturbed...

will go tomorrow to service station and check what can be done...

What is an cost of fairing...does i need to purchase complete fairing or some pieces can be replaced...

Yes it does put load on battery compared to stock but is not very high to effect the life of battery. But HID is way better option than Halogen 55/60w !!

@veyhipho: too sad man.... the faring is divided into two seperate parts AFAIK the bottom part and the top part, you can find the bolts right on the ZMR sticker, just keep us updated on the spares avaialblity and all ok..

top part of fairing got damaged...only that part will be available?

This is sad....and take the bike to service center and keep us posted.. but sourcing parts will take a little time.. tell the svc guys that its priority

No money taken from family...i think about it after seeing my bike ...but i just left it..

too much total amount.......will try to claim it in Insurance...
