I enjoy the stare. The more I dress up the more people think that either I am racing or I work for some bike company or I am into stunts. I am telling You guys that in India everything is compensated at the cost of life. People think that they saving money but at the cost of what?? ----Life?? Safety?? Nah... Its not my way. So when people stare at me at signals I don't care. Sometimes I ask people who sincerely ask me and I advice them that If you cannot buy Costly gears Do atleast wear agood helmet and wear thicker clothes. The least I can do is advise them. But I also think that more road safety awareness seminars should be organised in order to aware people of the safety on road.

I've seen worse, I was in 11th class and riding my cycle to tuition, and what do I see...
An uncle with helmet hung on one elbow, a packet of biscuits in it, a polythene bag full of fruit hung on another elbow, cigaret stuck between his lips and head tilted to left and cell phone between his ears and shoulder and riding his bike at about 20 kmph. I was like ..

I have seen people wearing skeleton/skull on their faces.. nobody cares.. and when someone is doing for safety.. no skull or anything.. just normal balaclava.. the cops lose their minds..

Lol even I had the same experience when I was wearing the mask. The cop even warned me it's illegal to wear black masks and next time he catches me he would book a case against me. I was like wtf is wrong with these people. Bloody movies have made black masks the official uniform of thieves.

There is a strange satisfaction when the cops catch you and you have all your documents. But sometimes they will try and fine you for any strange reasons once I was caught for going through knee deep waters in rainy seasons. Reason being: you are trying to attempt suicide. [emoji1][emoji1][emoji1]

Thanx bro. This was a little over two years ago and I have already got the colour copy attested but what I was saying was that this is the level of competence of the cops in this country where they don't even know the law that they enforce. I think only proper bikers and drivers should be made traffic cops not some 12th pass fellow. What say?

Take copies of your original docs (need not be colored) and get it stamped by any gazetted officer or a notary and you're good to go.

Sounds like the classic case of uneducated cops schooling the educated lot.
I had a similar experience a few years back. A cop pulled me over for routine document checking (their way of saying money collection for night party jugaad). So he asks me for my license and RC and i was carrying my originals (over cautious). He laughed at me and said only a fool carries his originals, what if they were lost.
Well I saw logic in that so I got colour Xeroxes of my documents and put the originals at home.
Two days later I was stopped again and this time I was fined for not carrying original documentation.
This is the state of the law in this country and its all because of quota hiring instead of merit based selection.

i just remembered that in HYD once there was a check going on for so called motorcycle guy with a black bag.. maybe like 8-10 months back.
as usual i was heading back home and these guys stop me . where they just wanted to see the bag. they checked- found nothing.
before i could leave this guy asks me

police : " wtf is that " (my balaclava ) while i was wearing it.
me : i wear this for dust and pollution
police : why is it black
me : i am like "wtf" weird expression .
police : stop: dont wear helmet. pulls out his flintstone age camera phone. click my pic and then shows me. " see this is how you look"
me : how does it matter how i look in helmet ?
police : enough. leave now

i just kept wondering. wish i could just hit my steel toe on his head or probably just break his nose with all armored glove... "too many wishes" huh...
