      I was waiting for a question like this: I found that the Hunk handled easier on the corner. It would not go down the way the newer Pulsars too. But that does not mean that the Hunk is not a good handler. I liked the Hunk around the bend too. Maybe a tad better than the 220s and 200s of our world!
      The Wheel was a great invention; Two Wheels with a Motor in between was even better!

          I am not surprised because I have seen the CBZ-X go berserk on the corners. It retains its posture when pushed hard. Since the Hunk shares the swingarm and most parts (I think ) with the X, I was expecting it to handle similarly. The pulsars have very soft front suspension, I feel. Not much feedback while trying to bend. Its scary.

          @andy: Good lean there!

            You mean to say the guy is Varad Moore a.k.a. Speedy from RSA
            I can simply quote him as India's most daredevilian biker n maybe the fastest toO...

            yeh HUNK is built on the same platform as Xtreme, but it is way heavy as compared to X... so its handling is very different from others, but as good as them. Pulsars (150/180) on the other hand are out of questions.

            • Extremes are also very good at corners

              Guess, mono shocks would have made even better....

                • @Pranay: The handling of Hunk is plain good, its pretty easy to take this bike around corners, if you will observe te pics closely the bike is already at the maximum lean level, the lowest part of the bike in this case, footpeg lobe was scraping the road like anything. If i can work on the body position right it will be a piece of cake to scrap the knee on hunk.

                  Right Side footpeg lobe:

                  Left side footpeg lobe:

                    Is this some kind of a 'competition' or a 'race' for you? Seems so to me.

                    Ofcourse you can outcorner him or anyone. You see, that way we mere mortals would be safer taking the corner at our own comfort levels.

                      Hey you are taking it wrong. i just want to see what bike corners the best .

                      tell me one thing ,why do you want to put your knee down ? .isnt that a target you want to achieve ? i also got my targets . And yeah im sure you mortals find kneescraping on public roads quite safe .

                      why do people test top speeds of their bikes ? to see the limits of their engine and im doing it to see my limits [though with a margin for error]

                      without comparison how can one improve .a person will be happy doing one thing at his level but when he see's someone doing the same thing better wont he want to atleast attain the same level as him ?

                      • ^^^LOst man CALM down. We mortals dont find knee-scraping in public, safe or bliss, we dont even do it in public. I can assure you of that... Atleast not any xbhp'ian does that as we are very much aware of that stupid thing.
                        the place you see in the pics are isolates ghats with very rare trffic or isolated places in city interiors where hardly a soul wanders or commutes through...

                        PEACE! No war plz.

                          I liked this. Looking at this, I feel I need to check out on my posture some more.

                          Let us stick to our comfort levels and try and get "the act" right. I am not getting into any race with him or anyone.

                            @silver_falcon-Perfect body position. At what speeds you are taking those corners?

                            @Bandhav-Too good man.

                            @Aryan-I have seen you taking better turns.Somehow when the picture was taken you were in a very awkard position.

                            • This thread has turned out to be a pretty interesting one as compared to how it was prior to server crash.

                              Aryan, the picture of you on the R1 looks brilliant. If that was 122kmph I bet you could push a lot more and bring in that lean.

                              Ken, How about some pictures of you and the One with new rubber

                              The ride to from Munnar city to Top Station was just brilliant. Good visibility and zilch traffic contributed to the confidence. Could not get any good shots of corners because most of us were busy enjoying the corners.

                              Heading for a track day in Chennai next month. Hope to catch up with fellow xBhp'ians from Chennai.

                              Thanks MG.Speeds were around 75kmph.
