    We can remove the black layer by blade... after removing the whole layer, get the required rpm counter style done in sticker shops and stick it to the old plate! Just be careful with the size n rpm range measurements.

    remove or scratch coz whn i talked to Raneet he said he scratched the layer but nyways a nice idea...not jst hav to get my hands on an old console

    coz getting from blazzor would be damn exp until not in bulk...

      Guys guys guys.. its pretty simple.. will upload a pictures here so that you can clear your doubts.. I just had to shell out 150 bucks for the faceplate and nothing for the craft as it was a DIY..

      Details in my LED thread, link on my signature...



      That is just the modd on the faceplate before color change..

        A new member here, and i am happy to do this mod to my 3 months old Pulsar 180.

            i done this with my Glamour today.its successfull
            Also changed the both niddle color as White:-)
            Credit goes to Rahul for the idea n Raneet for the connections of LEDs.
            But its looks bit dull guys.:-(
            what should i do for get results bright?
            I placed only 3 strip(each have 3 LED);Shall i place more strip??

            Please reply........:-(

              Try fixing some 3 more set of LED strips on the marked areas. The first pic will show you the area where to install the strips and the second pic will show you the probably illumination because of it..

                    Thanks Guys.. It took me one whole evening and half a night to do this! Resoldering the LCD pins is a bigg pain in the ass though. But i must say.. every pulsar owner looks at this with surprise and asks me where did i get this done?

                    My next mod is going to be installing xenon projector with angel and demon eyes.. will post the images wen its done.

                                For warranty conscious people, thanks to Omi's idea :

                                We can stick Black tape on existing LEDs and install the new LED strips separately.

                                The yellow led's in apache rtr 160 has got 2.1v and the blue led's are 3.6v.
                                the max voltage capacity the blue led can withstand is 3.7v.
                                With this if i put the blue led's, the backlight of the speedo will be really
                                very dim.So for this tell me how to amplify 2.1v to 3.6/7v??
                                Should i need to cut the led strip and arrange and stick it parallely on the console?
