IMHO it is not advisable to reset the EEPROM memory the reason being the EEPROM might contain lot of default settings which helps in the operation of the whole unit.
If you get to find a way to reset that particular location in the EEPROM which stores the ODO reading that will be good, but finding & reseting a specific location without cahnging the s/w is by no means an easy job.
So dont try to reset the EEPROm, you might end up killing the unit.
The above is just my opinion & i might be wrong if so guys please feel free to correct me.



If iam not wrong the memory is the EEPROM. Can u research & tell me which is the reset pin? I got fried reading the huge data sheets. 
Might be useful for a lot of people here..!!
