    • How can a Teflon Coating cost just 500 Rs. (if it is a Teflon Coating)?
    • If we need the Nano Energizer, why dint Bajaj put it themselves?
Greedy me!! ... was taken for that 500/- TEFLON....TEFFLONN trap .

These Thugga Guyz seem to be more of an LIC Agent than BAJAJ Auto Sales Rep. They are always inclined on arising needs for unwanted things for you and deperately trying their best for making a good hole in your wallet so that once made, the hole will keep on pouring the money like milk vending machines on our very own Mother Dairy booths. And if unsuccessful, they will never forget to give you some out of this world, fancy, weird, unimaginable looks which can't be jotted down in words (as if you have become a defaulter for not able to pay a loan) for the simple reason that you din't fall for the trap they were trying to lay for you.

Greedy me... was taken by the teflon trap. Paid 740/- and got engaged in completing the paper work. Within 15 mins. Guy was ready with ear to ear smile, saying teflon coat is done. To my great surprise, I just came to know last week ,when I had been there to have the 2nd coat that these guys were minting money under the great supervision and bluffing of Bagga Link by making a 3M Liquid Wax Polish in the name of Teflon coat. And the irony being, I couldn't get the 2nd coat as I lost that very lil green bill alongwith my wallet last Diwali. And they are so Professional that they don't keep a record, even the carbon copy from that Bill book. Lucky me... After much of da-da di-di do-do, with that sardar ji in the svc center bay and the guy named Javed, those Coating guys communicated to me that they will have a check in their REGISTER (sounding very important as if it contained nuclear trigger info in that) which is kept in a secure office of theirs, situated in Vivek Vihar, Delhi. Gave him my#. It's been two weeks after that, I know, I won't get any call but I am still waiting....lol.
As I previously mentioned about being a repeated face @ THUGGA and trying uselessly to persuade THUGGA Guyz to give another TEFLON coat to my bike which was due and they, ofcse, were not et al intended to do it as I had lost that IMPORTANT and UNIQUE bill, and were trying to put me off with excuses. Though it was always a lost battle for me as I had already wasted @least 3days and a lot of gas (I have even lost the reading of ODO) but I wanted to do something to pay him in the same coin or @ least something that could allow THUGGA's conscience (if that exists) to act fair with me. But .... you know!!!
Now I Remember that Polish Guy, RINKU, just deleted his # this afternoon. Sunday,I was roaming around CP, cell vibrates, checked, 1missed call from none other than Rinku. Called up, and some gud news is passed over from that side of the cell. RINKU on a roll (with landlord accent n tone)....

Sir, aapka record mil gaya hai.
Ohh, mera naam n gaadi# tha REGISTER me?
      HAAN.
      To ab??
Aaj hi le aao gaadi, nahi to fir mushkil hai.
Yaar main to bahar hu, gaadi gandi hai.
      DHO K LAANA.
Yaar 500/- me bas polish maaroge, gaadi svc bay me dhulwa dena.
Aaj sunday hai, svc bay band hai, aur yahan waise bhi 150-200/- lagenge.
Hain? Gaadi dhone k? Mineral water se dhote ho ya paani Iraq se mangwate ho?
Poora service charge lagta hai. Agar karana hai to. Bahar se dhulwa lo 40-50/- lagenge.
Bhai wo to theek hai par wahan ane tak gaadi fir gandi ho jaaegi.
Sir, dekh lo aap ki marzi hai.
Haan, marzi to gadhe ki hoti hai. Aata hu 3-4 baje tak
      5 baje band ho jaaeyga.....

...Follows the very familiar call disconnection tone.

I made it there in time. No sooner I entered THUGGA, found myself amidst of something which took me back to my bike's delivery day jus lik a time machine. Couldn't resist myself laughing. Another guy, another bike, another rep and the same round of shendi...
Rinku recognised me @ the enterance and signed me to park the bike in for a fast TEFLON coat. I signed in counter and waved him to wait and made ma way towards the office. Met SHILPI there and made her familiar with ma story. Now, I said that you have duped me once in the name of TEFLON Coat and made her realise strongly by emphasizing that what she communicates to the customers, knowingly or unknowingly, is an ILLEGAL PRACTICE. I was being gentle to her assuming she won't be knowing much about the difference betn TEFLON, WAX or all other polishes. She might just be passing on what she has been told about. After she realised and admitted to the mistake of hers, I asked her to return rest of ma money as I do not wish to avail the 2nd coat for the simple reason of giving me a run around cause of their sheer negligence. When asked the same from Rinku, he began acting a true rogue without even a second's delay...
Aise nahi hota hai, ek to aap k liye apne office gaya, register check kiya aur aapko bulaya.
Kyon boss, main tumhari biwi hu jo mere liye itna kasht kiya?
Wo baat nahi hai, ye to meri apni jeb se jaayega.
To jo liya tha wo gurudware se daan mila tha kya? Wo mera paisa tha. 80/- ki 3M ki bottle se main 2 dozen bike polish kar dunga, aur tum 250/- lete ho usme bhi bike ghar se dho k lao. 4 week se tumhare fone ka wait kar raha tha.
      Sir, aise nahi hota
Theek hai to aap Original TEFLON coat kar do.
Wo to fir maalik se baat kar lena.
      Baat karao.
Aaj to sunday hai, wo fone nahi uthayenge.
Fon kar aur bol, customer hamari pitai kar raha hai, malik bhaag k aayega.

SHILPI joined in understanding the gravity of the situation saying she will get the bike washed and get the coat done in proper manner. I humbly told SHILPI, that I will just put this nonsense forward to BAJAJ in an email format and will ask for xplanation if these coating guyz have been deployed here by BAJAJ itself or THUGGA is minting money by unfair means. Would you believe guyz, as soon as ma tounge just parked itself in with both the teeth lines clasping each other, here comes the wallet outta RINKU's pocket...

YE RAKKHO SIR 200/- (as if he just got himself a BMW X7 and I buffed the car for him)
I really didn't want any money from him, just wanted them to realise what they did, but this attitude of his drove me to ask for complete refund, but as a deal, one coat was done.
I firmly said... 50 aur. And this took him for surprise. He probably expected that I would insist him to do the coat.
Whatever happened, I was not happy. @ the end of the day, a customer, Loyal customer was thinking, why in the world anybody would do that to someone, for no fault of his. Dear THUGGA, and all the fellows who are sick and mushrooming, you need surgery and the best way to do it just before you go to sleep @night, allow your conscience to talk to yourself. No question will remain unanswered.
Conscience is what depletes the layer betn a man and GOD.

you are not the onl;y person unhappy with bajajs service i bought my pulsar 180 last year, i got a scoop installed by them the day i took delivery it was below the engine to protect the lower part of bike from mud the next day i drove the bike i found the scoop too low and in a pot hole it got hit and broke and the quality of the scoop was also very bad it was merely like paper i asked them a replacement as the scoops from my friends pulsar from khivraj was much stronger i spoke even to the manager but found no motive of service and also i was also cheated with tyres i was not given a mrf zapper which is default with pulsar but was given a nylogrip zapper which was not so gripful and i found their service most worse i haven seen even one effective service and within eight months the paint started comin off my front alloys
and my silencer and parts below startes rusting and not to mention the disk pads worn out very early and their washing the vehicle when in service is horrible it jus dimms the vehicle and they spray water in to disks which makes he disk to not engage at times and last time i gave it to polish there there was this f***r jus pourin polish and sweakin with a dirty cloth i asked where the machine scrubber was he dare ****in tells me it has gone to service i blast this guy and ask him to refund the money for polish but somehow manages to get sum shine which later made my bike dimmer because of too much polish and low rubbing now i am thinking of giving my bike to service at any other bajaj dealer but it seems they are also in the same condition

Sometime ago I went to buy karizma for my friend. Its his 1st(from own salary) bike and he is quite excited. When he asked for black colored they said he need to pay extra 500 as they dont have stock now. They need to fetch it from another show room. Immediately I came out and went to another show room. Though they tried for same trick but when we said we can wait; he did not charge anything. He gave timeline of 5 days. But finally he gave in 2-3 days. Till now he is over all Ok with the svc. After some 1 yr, another friend went to get cbz-xtreme. Again same story!!! Dont have stock, but can fetch u if paid some amount. He went to show room which is corner to the city. Got the vehicle in good price.

The showroom guys try to dupe u with all possible way. Early delivery, new gadgets and some odd/even fuel addictives. Btr keep ur eyes open and learn to say "NO".

                    Bajaj Sucks

Just as I was thinking that I am through with the ordeal, I was taken aback by yet another horrifying incidence with Bajaj.

The bike, few days ago met with an accident and hence needed repairs. Tired and frustrated with Thugga Links, I decided to take it to some other dealership, hence called up Swadeshi Autos on 65108108 and then on 65108109. But No Answer!!!!

Then I called up on 25444555. After going through the IVR, I punched 20 to speak to the operator. I was greeted by a lady to whom I asked my call to be transferred to the store department. The call was sent over to the store department but no one answered. I called up again on 25444555, again asked for the stores, again the call was transferred again no one answered.

I again called up, spoke to the Lady to transfer the call to Stores. This time, she transferred the call to god knows what extension/department. A lame voice answered the call- I asked for stores, he said- Hold Karo, transfer karta hoon. Again, the call was sent over to the store department where no one answered it.

Finally, I called up again on 25444555, asked the lady to transfer the call to The Manager. She transferred the call, and a very disinterested voice answered- Hallo!
                    Me: Is this the manager?
                    He: Kaun bol raha hai?
Me: I want to speak to the manager.
                    He: Hold karo.
( some other gentleman now comes on the line)

                    Me: Is this the manager?
                    He: Haan, kyu?
Me: Can I please get your name?
                    He: Naresh. Kyu?
Me: Naresh Ji, yaa to aap log buzy bahut hain, ya fir aap log kaam nahi karma chahtey!
He: kahan say bol rahey ho? Media say?
                    Me: Kya matlab?
He: Media say bol rahey ho? Kya kaam hai?

I was taken aback, is this the way a Manager is supposed to be on phone? Perhaps, like us all, he too lacked the basic telephone etiquettes. So,
Me: Can I talk to your senior?
He: Kyu? Kya baat karni hai?
Me: Jo bhi baat karni hai, un say he karoonga.
                    He: Meujhey batao.
Me: Sorry, aap meri line transfer kareingey?
He: Yahan pay mujh say bada koi nahi hai.
Me: Ok, apnay boss say baat karao fir.
He: Mujhsay baat karni hai to theek nahi to g#%$ mara!

I could not take it any further and hence hung up.

Now, I have started wondering if there is something terribly wrong with me, or are the People associated with Bajaj rowdy to the maximum.

I am sure, even if Bajaj is the last manufacturer on earth, I wont buy a Bajaj Bike. Bajaj Sucks big time.

                    No Cheers for Bajaj

@dcs: Have you tried either the Okhla or the Kirti Nagar service station? Which bike are we talking about here, the P180? Because, if it is either the P200 or the P220, then take it to either Okhla or Kirti Nagar. Both these service centers do a commendable job.

But, I totally agree that a "manager" talking in this way, that too with a customer is pure and utter crap. Did you try and mail the Bajaj customer support regarding this latest development? I suggest you shoot a mail to them mentioning each and every detail regarding this - right from the problem that you have on the machine to the name of the manager of the particular showroom/ service center. Bajaj customer service is very prompt. Just try it out, and then post what happens.
                      :)

Let us not generalize a company's outook or ways of working just because of a few people. We all have a tendency to do that. Even when a couple of bikers sporting xBhp decals on their bikes decide to rip in the traffic then it is the community as a whole that gets degraded, something which we all we agree, is not the case.

Hence let us be more understanding and give people benefit of doubt, Bajaj has done a lot of good too. Every company has moles in its heirarchy.

Sunny, its bad to stereo-type a company or a person, but of all the past experiences in the last 5 years with Bajaj, I still am awaiting a chance to find an instance that can make me think otherwise.

And lets not forget, I was with a dealership of Suzuki Motorcycles sometimes back, where despite putting our best foot forward, anytime when there was a customer dissatisfaction, we were nagged by people in the likes of Mr. Atul Gupta and Mr. Rakesh Kumar. Also, Using abusive language over the phone line shows that the people at the dealerships are not worried about them being questioned at the Company Level.

I still wont take away the credit from Bajaj for revolutionizing the motorcycling in India, but no way am I ready to bear the brunt by shedding off my skin. I dont ride a Bajaj, and am glad that I dont. If you or someone else likes the fearlessness of People associated with Bajaj, then I wonder if your liking would persist if anyone of you is subjected to same treatment as the one shown by Naresh of Swadeshi Automobiles.

You are not the first & the last one to have faced these kind of absurd response from Bagga. Though I have not faced such rude behavior from the PBK guys but I know that even the PBK at Karol Bagh can be best described as place where only crap can be delivered.
Once I went to the K Bagh PBk and asked for a top up of engine oil as at that time I was facing some issues with it. They flatly refused to do that !!! When I said that I have got it done from Kirti Nagar & Okhla PBK they replied they may do it, but e don't.

Bagga is the biggest dealer of Bajaj, if am not wrong. And that's the reason why Bajaj is so fearful of acting upon them.

                              Pathetic situation.
Even am also experiencing a bad experience with my head lamps which I got replaced recently after paying 3000 rupees. I will post it in 220 DTSFi thread
