Hey man!! In India, most of the so called new bikes are just permutations & combinations, carried out using the existing parts bins!!!! Of course, there are exceptions, but the exceptions prove the rules only!!!! So, let's not get so excited about the new CBZ Xtreme!!!! Stay cool man, at least till such time you get to see it in metal and rubber!!!

      Yes guys

Each and every produced bike has a difference of only between 10km or 20km in its TOP Speed --- so they are only called as Premium bikes

Wait a loooooooong time to see a bike crossing 200km/hr produced by an Indian Manufacturer.............

Then accept it as Premium segment bike --

Well we are all only riding a upgraded scooters - nothing special in the bikes what we all ride

If u think in this way then - the following explanation will be so meaningfull

      Pulsar ------- upgraded bajajm80
      apache ------ upgraded TVS50
      karizma ------ upgraded hero puch

Xtreme is not an exception - expect a colored scooter from HH stable

Well NO OFFENSE against anyone or any manufacturer

@Nitro everyone would like to have a bike that goes 200kmph but not everyone in India can afford it. People are happy with such bikes is because they are the best you get in your budget!

                New CBZ Xtreme

New cbz xtreme is just the new sticker version.

It now comes with dual tone colour scheme and some minor sticker jobs on the body. As per the pics in the October edition of the overdrive there is a black + yellowish orange colour tone. No power or mechanical upgrades though I hoped for GRS shocks as standard fitment at the rear(intead there is yellowish shocks in stead of black)

Most dramatic thing in the bike is the alloys. While the front alloys are black the rear ones are painted yellowish orange, Infact some might refer the flashy colour taking it as an exclusive colour option(just like in case of orange RTR eFi).

Other noticeable changes are the clear lamp indicator and a colourful instrument cluster.

Though it remains to be seen how cool(or pathetic) the bike looks in flesh, HH seems to be least concerned about the up coming threat from new Yamaha and the awaited Suzuki 150s.

Well, HH/ HMSI acts like a mother, who won't give anything to her child, which might spoil him/ her, if child annoys a lot she gives same old healthy food, in new packages. Yammy is like a dad, who got divorced and lost child's custody, so it is doing everything to lure child to get attracted to him, gifts, chocolates, ETC.... BAL/ TVS are uncles, who give tasty chocolates, but the child gets it's tooth decayed, and now, they have even lost track of new brands of chocolates, so the child is getting bored.. ... That's how I feel the things are, right now.

Looking forward to new sticker R&D job of HH...

to me a dual color scheme sees as a 25th yr logo embossed on the tank..background red and and silverish 25 number..and below that its written "you are our 25th to 26th year non stop fool by actually paying 10k more for this logo".

                        New Cartoon CBZ.
The old one always looked good to me except for the front blinkers. But this one is real Cartoon. Govinda edition.

That is not true. There are a lot of people who can afford a lot of stuff. But the problem is there is no matured market nor is the industry mature enough. Hence the people who can afford to cough up the moolah, they either walk to the Yamaha showroom, or they pick up an import. A mature industry has proper segments. When in a country you have segments that are divided into 10K increments, what can you expect? The mindset has to change before we run out of oil.
The Wheel was a great invention; Two Wheels with a Motor in between was even better!

When I saw HH's 25th anniversary ad I thought they must be coming with a bonus bike like history making ZMA or CBZ, but after looking at new CBZ I think they have lost the chance to beat FZ. I am sure that once Yamaha get on track nobody can ever beat Yamaha in performance segment and this time Yamaha has solid weapon (FZ) with them.
