actually they also need to reduce the vibrations in the bike as well... only -ve point i find irritating. the vibes from the right footrest is unbelievable at 110+ kmph..

the indicators will look less ugly since they are now clear type..

its going on the same lines as the new "grotesque" stickering of the unicorn, except HH fellas have done it better at making the bike even more uglier..

i thought the bright red colour on the cbzx when it was launched was ugly.. even that now looks sane.

i cant break this news to my bike... "sniff"...

The word is GAY,the bike looks gay in red and orange.
I mean, what were they thinking when they thought "I know what we should do,let's paint the bike like a baboon's arse.No one has ever done this before not even Yamaha, that would make us the world's first(at something)again."

I was among the people who loved the xtreme the way it was.It looked futurisitic with the single tone colors geling in quite nicely with the bodywork. And that was the bike that I was looking forward to buying for my everyday runs.(my Disco being gone). But now though I will have to look at something else......a baboon's arse perhaps.

P.S: Mods,if the language is too strong,I will edit it later.Just wanted to vent out my feelings.

May be a round headlight would have been looked smashing.

^ try your luck getting the older stock at the showroom
"I WANT the old cbz xtreme pleaseeee" and get the HH fellas at the showroom giving you weird glances for wanting the old "stale" looks instead of the refreshing new colours

The orange looks better in the flesh then the photos. I liked the red though.

The way you guys are talking now I was talking to the actual HH guys. Trust me man they are listening. Instead of wasting this thread and getting it locked away I suggest you guys give honest real feedback and state what you want. And I promise ill get your message across.

I agree with the direction the company has been going after the Karizma is wrong, so lets tell them what we want. I suggested a naked with the zma engine (maybe 20ps). Which is a honest suggestion as they already have a great engine. So something on these lines guys. And no appereciation for the pics eh?

                  honestly...

i liked the red and black color scheme even with its dual colored alloys. Even when Xtreme was launched initially, There was hell lot of criticisim (only for its fairing, which does not matter for a tru biker, my opinion) on the bike...but on par with other bikes in its class when it comes to performance and match up with other bests in handling and stability, refinement and mileage...and still sells good even with lots of negative reviews by people.

now the new stickered versions has some new graphical upgrades only (which is disappointing), but its from HH and cant expect more than this unless Mr. Honda gives something to Hero Honda.

I dont blame HH for this, As it is binded to HONDA for the engines. I am sure, If they have got bigger engines they wud have been released to market long before and may be pulsars and rtrs wudnt have the chance to see the postion which they are in now.

People expect something, And if they dont get it, they will be obviously disappointed.

Any how...New Xtreme looks pretty decent to me (especially the Black with red alloys), I can comment on orange one only after seeing it in flesh but not just flaming over just by looking at pics.

                    HH..if you're listening

                    HH, if you're actually listening....

I dont believe that looks dont matter to a biker. And lets be honest here,
CBZ Xtreme is not the "biker" kind of a bike.
So why in the hell are we not learning lessons from the Yamaha stable ?
I know that they are very small as compared to you guys in the numbers sold, but hey, things are changing and they change fast and you would not know when they get out of your hand...

So heres a few things you SHOULD do pretty soon....

1- Release the upgraded Karizma with a FULL FAIRING....better than the one
                    in R15.
2- Give CBZ Xtreme more power in the furture....launch it as an aggressive
naked bike if you want to...
3- You're doing very well in the commuter section and you are a good judge
                    for that

Finally, stop making Half faired bikes. Its disgusts me when people oppose things like FULL FAIRING....It about time India gets bikes which do not look like some starved version of a good bike....
Your customer base is fast changing and these are the requirements of this section...

                    • Being someone whose first bike was a Classic Silver Colored 1999 CBZ (Not the Ugly Star Version), I simply can't understand this New "Xtreme" strategy..

                      Dual Colored Alloys..?!?!
                      Now I have seen everything.

                            • By the way, I am not going to buy the cbz extreme at all. FZ16 is the new king of motorcycles for me...but the sentence in the top is still true to the core!!!

@ HERO HONDA: Please get out of this stickering legacy for god's sake. And give us a worthy upgrade of Karizma!!! or the legendary CBZ!!!! If any Hero Honda official is really reading this, then let me tell you very clearly that today you do not have any bike in your stable which I would like to buy (I sold off my Karizma last month after riding it for more than 4 years). And with you coming up with this kind of an upgrade for a really good bike like the CBZ extreme, I can only pitty you. Right now, I am only looking to buy a Yamaha and I am still hopefull that Honda will soon do something worthy with its Unicorn.
