The Hunk has only its engine similar to the Xtreme,though in a different state of tune,they all use Unicorn's engine.Rather Hunk= Honda Tiger wid Unicorn engine.Hunk was retuned with ATFT for better mileage and power.Though top speed got the stick.But keep throttle wringed at max for 3 secs and it would do 110kmph atleast.Now thats capable of the classic CBZ interms of looks and power.Thus an able sucessor of CBZ.

Hmmm.. Gotta agree there..
The Hunk if anything is more of a successor to the CBZ than the alienoid X-treme

But this ATFT mumbo jumbo is present in the humble Unicorn too actually..

ATFT in layterms just means that the fuel-air mix that's drawn into the engine encounters turbulence on entry, hence improving performance vis-a-vis fuel effeciency...

i also love Hunk...but as one said...its doesnt feel good riding it...seems like its been chained from being over ridden ...

If not in very first G Xtreme, i remember them adding it after launch of hunk and stating same in advertisements. So its very few literate people who know that it is already ATFT but for rest of crowd, it may act as NEW xtreme.

Yep...First Gen Xtreme's had ATFT...Before the launch of Hunk, I remember seeing newpaper ad of Xtreme sporting ATFT as one of its technologies other than AMI.

Combined ATFT and AMI (single Spark plug with rapid sparks equvivalent of producsing same amount of sparks as done my dual sprak plugs etc etc...heard this) of HH is equal to DTS-Si of bajaj.

The thing is....

ATFT has been there right since the first generation Unicorn..
Its not some add-on component that can be attached to an engine.. The swirl effect that the induction charge is subjected to has to be there in every IC engine..
The optimisation of this swirl/turbulence has just been labelled as ATFT by HH as an advert gimmick..

Hope this ends the ATFT in new gen Xtreme - old Xtreme debates

Ravi@17bhp informed me abt this.

The pics which manav had posted of the new CBZx were copied by riaz to share it with some of our friends. I believe someone in BIKEindia mistook that riaz had spotted and clicked the pics of the New cbzx.

The credit for the pics was given to Riaz without them knowing abt the posts in Xbhp.

This confusion could have been avoided if the pics were watermarked.

Riaz copied the pics coz our friend's were'nt able to view them on xbhp coz they need to register in order to view them. His intention was not to misuse the pics!

Pls watermark the pics so as to avoid futher confusion. We have already emailed BikeIndia abt this.
