Agreed, HH is more than a little handicapped with their affiliation to Honda and Honda's finally weaning itself OUT of HH. (Remember the announcement that all big bikes henceforth will be ONLY from the Honda stable?)

Face it - HH is out. Possibly forever. Look at newer horizons, cuz this one aint gonna yield shit!!!

The culprit for everything is Honda. It will not launch good bikes and it will not allow Hero Honda to do that.

Going by history, the next big upgrade from HH could be new font for CBZ-Xtreeemeee...

or maybe the CBZ Xtreme Star

I want to say a couple of things, firstly the rumor is TRUE. This is indeed a new CBZ extreme coming out. I co-ordinated the AD for it. I cant post any details because of my agreement with Hero Honda. But I wanted to share a couple of things.

I was on location for a couple of days and had a chance to interact with the top-brass of both Hero Honda and the Ad agency. I had the same opinion like everyone else here. About them doing nothing but just launching revamped sticker jobs over and over. We had long discussions about a lot of things. They did agree to my points as a biker, but at many a times I do agree to their point as businessmen as well. I was discussing that they can get some really good tech from the Honda stable et all.

All I can say that you can voice out your opinions here, they are watching. Be honest clear and concise. The wheel is rolling but it will take some time to get some really good stuff from them. Its not like they dont want to do it, but everything takes time. I will post some of the photos from the shoot (none have the bike in it) for now. And will post all of them when the officially announce the thing. And the orange isnt the real good color, the best is yet to be seen

Right! As a matter of fact, with no stickers, Uni took 6 secs. to go 0-60.. But, with new stickers, it saves 1sec... (source: it's site, brochures) soon, it will zoom to 60, as soon as you start the engine, with further R&D on stickers.. HH/HMSI are kind enough not to patent it, wonder why other players ain't following it, maybe too high-tech.

Blue wheels would have been cooler! One thing I like about HMSI and Unis is that they are so good at stickering/ painting that, people for a while do think, it is a new bike and makes it different from other Unis. Also, it doesn't make previous owners repent... Like when I bought my Uni, people used to ask my the cost and stare it a lot... When I was touring around the place, I heard two kids staring, and talking amongst them...

Had I been in the management of these cos., speaking true, I would have done the same. If sales and profits are going fine with current tech, why give something new and attract competition... A saying goes - "If it ain’t broken, don’t fix it".

Yammy had no options, so it gave it's best for the buck.. their success should make the big daddies understand the demand, and hopefully in a while, we can see something better (specs. wise) in near future. Source for hopes, the launching announcement of Fireblade by Honda seeing good demand for R1s, etc.

Okay, I hope they read this too... HH/ HMSI/ Santa, can I please a get bike having a name like CBR250RR, with logic to it's name, i.e. having around 250cc and producing around 25-30bhps..
