    • I was really pissed off as well. I got a sms today that BIKE featured my photos without any reference or whatever. And I agree that I should have watermarked the photos, will do it from now on. I never really believed in watermarking or photoshopping, even if its not hardcore photography and are just "pictures" its supposed to be shared with the world. But a little appereciation would be nice.

Bad news is I lost my old blackberry which had the contact information of all the hero honda people. I will get that info and contact the concerned person and make him read the thread for sure.

And there was so much said here, I cant respond to each post. Will just vent out my personal opinion, I kind of liked the dual colored alloys and didnt think that they are stupid. And as far as the R15 goes, would you have spend 1.1 lakh on a 150 cc bike before it was launched if I asked you and never showed you any pics .

All in all like I said, please let the opinions flowing and ill make sure I get someone from HH to respond here soon.
Locking the front and flipping is the worst experience you could err experience.

Pls watermark the pics so as to avoid futher confusion. We have already emailed BikeIndia abt this.
Its very difficult for us to watermark each and every picture. The onus is on members to watermark the picture.Overnight nothing will change I guess with time people will understand the importance of watermarking.

        • @ Manav: If anyone from HH is seeing, please Appreciate my Feedback ...

Respected HH staff, Technical Upgrading is necessary to keep on touch with current market, and grab valid attention from public. I appreciate your efforts HH Staff, but sincierely suggest these after thinking a lot :-->

          1. Another CBZ is required in around 180-190cc Section ... based on the same 150cc platform, it can easily make 17 bhp, while still retaining enough mid range torque ....
Do remember, that HH has nothing to show to someone who needs a 150-200 category... Here, There are RTR, Pulsar, etc. in competition. It Can be named something after CBZ -- like CBZ++, CBZ Hyper, CB 180Z, etc ... Using old & famous name is actually using old publicity efforts ...

          2. With this Current CBZ Xtreme kindly go ahead, but only with one change--> both alloys should be either Black or Red, but both should be same color.
You can apply this when demands go down, which may be pretty soon...

          3. Technical upgrades over Karizma are needed now. Atleast, upgrades with less influence on cost, like Interactive Digital Speedos, LED Lights, Engine oversquaring (decrease stroke dimensions for more power, in exchange of torque), Front Indicators on Rear View Mirrors, Equally Spaced Gearing, etc. should be implemented, and they won't increase costs...

The R15 & P220 are the only valid choices we are left with, as ZMA is too old from inside now. The engine is also tuned for Low end & Mid End, but high end is weak at 16.9 bhp only ... Compare it to 20 bhp on Pulsar 220 + Useable Mid range too.

          4. Please focus on Upgrading Components using "Economies of Scale" by purchasing mass numbers of Rear Suspension Monoshocks, for all your 150cc plus bikes ...
This would instantly eliminate most of the competition, as monoshocks are better at handling & comfort, as compared to twin suspension setup. The one from Honda Unicorn can be used on all 150+ Bikes from HH, and it won't affect cost much ...

All these are practical suggestions, with possible & profitable implementation. With these efforts done, I'm sure HH will be seen by Bikers as the next valid reliable alternative to their current steeds. Moreover, the "Docile" customer would also get more Bang for his Buck.

Kindly go ahead & I'm looking forward to a new Hero Honda ...

          • generally tile watermarking and that too defining watermarking must be done.not fixed.like in one corner.if corner watermarking is done then its easy to crop it and then paste it in some say blog site newspaper magazine etc.
            there are no stupid questions.

            but there are stupid people.

                      @Riaz,

Bike India was just quoting the "Original Link/Original Source of the Pics" of the New CBZ Xtreme which was first discovered and accordingly posted by ME (Check this) on XBHP.

I happened to stumble across those Pics of the "New" CBZ Xtreme on Picasa Web which was posted by some "Momin.Riaz" (are you the same guy..??).. but now the pics seems from his picasa account.

... and now I see that even Bike India has removed that link from their website (well how about quoting XBHP in that case..??).

                      • this one is the ugliest cbz which ever hit the market. i didnt like the cbz extreme in the first place, this one is even uglier than that. the old cbz and the cbz star versions were dashing. wonder why HH changed the whole setup and gave us what is 10 times worse looking than the original one. i surely pity HH for wasting such a beauty

that's maybe there are no engine upgrades for the extreme.anyways honda hasn't provided HH any new engine AFAIK. that's why HH are playing with the same engine and launching bikes under different name.if it was not for the karizma, cbz and the legendary splendour, HH would have sunk by now
