@Samarth -> R1060 and RC1060 both are conical filters, then how did u tell your Dad to get R1060? Btw RC1060 is a better bet.

And sorry i don't know about how it is fixed in Pulsar

@Samrath - Here is my suggestion.

Remove the whole airbox from the chasis.
See the backside ( battery side) of the box.
Cut a whole in that side according to the size of the KN.
Now put the KN inside it and fit it with the extention pipe which is already present in the Airbox. ( LIke the classic.)
Fit the airbox into the chasis.
Fit the other carb ends properly.

        Hope it will be okey.

**This way you may deamege the original Airbox, so if anytime you want to switch to stock u need to buy a entire Airbox, cost approx Rs. 600

        Enjoy..

Samrath are you fitting the K&N with stock jets ! ! If yes then say good bye to your inlet and exhaust valves.

              @ samrath

sorry for my late reply but no you wont have the blue pipe in the bike.. you have to buy is separately
there is a black pipe which goes from the engine to the filter box.. you will have to connect that to your KnN

the side panel will close but you have to weld a small metal piece and be sure to remove whole of the filter box

thats what i have done to my 180 ug3, obviously the air flow increases, that's primarily what it does!!duh! though i have cut the air-box, coz if you install it the way its done in the pic, you feel like the bke's not havin any kinda compression, u will feel a huge loss in the pick-up, but when i cut a square in the box it gave some relief...you need to fit the cone directly on the carb ka rubber outlet..its a piece of cake, all u need is an axo blade to cut that square...

what you need to do is

                      remove whole of the airbox
take a small bend pipe (rubber pipe from the airbox will do)
and connect it to the carb .. also you need to make a whole in the pipe and fit the breather pipe which is originally connected to the airbox

this pic of my bike may help you
wow! isnt it kinda complicated!? any good reason for this kinda installation??

Now a new problem arose ... I searched for a mechanic who can rejet my Carb, and found that there are none discovered to me in Ajmer ... WTF do I do now?!

                        I mean, if I don't rejet, I really won't have much power increase ...

Is there any thread in Xbhp, by which I can tell the mechanic to rejet the carb, or maybe do it myself? Man, this K&N is lots of headache I tell you,if you don't know about 'em.

first up how did u finally instal the filter?? the best fit is putting an avenger ka jet...it fits in the carb..talk to your bajaj service centre guys, they will know where the jet is, its not complicated like boring where u need special cutting machines and stuff like dat..

P.S. your mileage will drop below 35 after jetting thats for sure...cause u need to upjet. the avenger jet is bigger than ours.

Reg. Avenger's jets, I'll try them but can any thread can explain on installing it (The JET) ...?

Vivaaad sorry kool kid go to your nearest PBK center and ask them the avenger pilot and main jets for reference ask them P 180 jets and compare each other if thread pattern is same and holes are bigger grab them and run towards your bike and fly to your mechanic's place and get them installed, once you install the air screw tuning is most important it should be set properly neither rich or neither lean, but don't go lean better you keep it a thad richer.

I hope i have not confused you

try and get a karizma jet and just replace your stock jet with it
