Any idea whats the size of main jets of Avenger 180?? The main jet swap alone is sufficient right?? No need to change the pilots as they are active only in the lower rpms and in idling... Also any idea about the main jet size of 180ug3?? coz i heard that the jet size was increased by 5 digits from ug2 to ug3Fun Starts at Redline!!!

one is pre-oiled, one you have to oil it yourself, they provide the oil sachet..Originally posted by Shreeni0403 View Post@Samarth -> R1060 and RC1060 both are conical filters, then how did u tell your Dad to get R1060? Btw RC1060 is a better bet.
And sorry i don't know about how it is fixed in Pulsar
more details on that one plz.Originally posted by psycho 98 View PostSamrath are you fitting the K&N with stock jets !
! If yes then say good bye to your inlet and exhaust valves.

Without upjetting and using K&N you are letting more air to your inlet valve & exhaust valves this way your valves get damaged and your compression ratio comes down. best example i can give you is our fellow xbhpian Xenologik he was running his bike ( Xtreme ) on K&N with stock jets these are parts he had to change. mind you his odo reading was 24k.Originally posted by me is rossi View Post

Inlet & exhaust valves.
Piston rings
gasket packing.
So at 24k no bike owner would expect worn out inlet & exhaust valves and piston rings, so you do the maths and come to a conclusion.
@Xeno logik if you are reading this your feed back is much appreciated."Engine tuning is not an exact science, but with some practice and patience you'll get comfortable with your skill and be able tune for any conditions mother nature throws at you"

Correction: You will 'not' need to up-jet if the bike is running RICH, not lean. Upjetting is to richen the mixture.Originally posted by winzeee View PostBTW its a 150 ,nd some one on the forum itself was saying that p150 is already running lean nd dont need to jetting .Thats why i got confused

which side have you put it?? its shouldnt be difficult for you to put it. check if the filter is perrfectly on the carb pipe. run your finger across the neck of the filter where it has accomodated the pipe. you will know.
I have installed it from alocal mech in mulund.
