Re: Bajaj SX-100 (Enduro) - Is it worth it??

It definitely not 125mm. The CBZ and the Karizma (my brother's) have around 135mm and same goes for the Pulsars (All gens). But the Enduro feels way taller than these. I normally have my feet flat on the floor when on any of these bikes. But on the Enduro I have to stretch and can normally touch just the front toe part on the floor.

The exact number I don't have with me, will come to know this on Wednesday. Will keep you all posted. I just wanted to plonk the Impulse fork intially (180mm travel :P) but had to back out due to no spare availability.

Any Pune folks have more info on the Sirac 90/90-18 in PUNE?
      Cheers,

Re: Bajaj SX-100 (Enduro) - Is it worth it??

          Hi Yamdoot,

Hero Impulse setup was the first thing I wanted to do..but had to back-out due to spare availability. As of now, Parts Cottage (Main spares distributor) and Geeta Automobiles don't have any info when they would get spares

Can think of a Bullet Rim and the matching disc setup, but then again will go through the loop of sorting out the front end and spending lot of cash. As of now, I've decided to retain the 18" setup both front and back. Will change this as soon as Impulse spares are available. 180mm travel along and the tire setup is too tempting.

          Cheers,
          Zohaib

            Reviving Bajaj Enduro

            Haii guys,

I am new to this forum, I need your help to revive a Bajaj enduro. I own an Enduro which i was using till early 2004. But i faced a problem with its carburetor, The problem was silly but unfortunately i dumped it in my garage. Today after almost 9 years i took it out. And everything seems jammed. I cant roll the wheel even after Engaging clutch.kicker, gear shifter everything is stuck. I want to revive this bike but really don't know where to begin to clear out that jam. Any help will be great.

Looks like you are somehow inspired by fellow members who revive their bikes. Not bad at all. Appreciate the thought!
As a first step, try to spray the bike down with abundant WD-40 and let it sit for 12hours at least. Repeat this for 2 more days. This should do the trick!

Before starting off, please check for availability of spares for the bike to avoid disappointment later .
                All the best!

Its been long since I've been here. Finally I've been able to get things moving again and the Enduro now runs. It has been a struggle all along with this bike as anything that needed to be put on her..had to modified or altered in some way or the other

Here are some of the pics snapped up prior to the fitness test. She still needs to be painted properly and the meters need to be made functional. Plan to get it down by this month end.

In the 3rd pic..the first bike from the right is a new buy.....will start on that beast from next year.

I know of one for sale. (Not mine though.)
Just posting because it is a rare and a kind of a cult bike.
