One fellow told me, Unis stator coil is almost full, very little space is left for rewinding, not sure for me though.

If its supporting a mighty 130W, u r at a high risk of burning the reflectors/coatings. I assume that lens refletor is alumn. And how can u compare with an HID to Halogen? Its almost like day and night diff there.
HID 4200k 35W is similar to H4 130/100W halogen. Both gives around 2500 lumens. Infact 6000k+ HID will give only around 2000k, which is lesser than a 130/100W halogen.

My set up supports 100/90 easily. So, 130/100 should work as well. May be I would not be able to use hi-beam for longer duration in the city(low rpms). And using 100/90, I do not face any type of lag or delay while switching even at idle. But right now, 100/90 satisfies me. So no plan of testing this out anytime soon!

And my wire gauge is 19AWG. Remember yours?

Guy here uses 18.5 or 18 for rewinding. Just enquired him

Thanks! So, I am almost correct as far as gauge goes. And can these setups support 130/100W, any info? I want to gauge the type of power 18AWG will make vs 19AWG.

One of my fren got the rewinding done and he is able to power up 90/100w easily. But change over from low-hi takes time as he is running on AC. I doubt if it can handle 130w.

            Just see this:

Color-Temp. & Luminance of Halogen bulb & HID bulb

The lifetime of HID bulb (ex. 4,200K)

            Various Spec & Colors

I hope this will cleared all doubts.

100/90 Halo didl not glow to its full brightness, when I fed it directly from 9AH batt, but once it fed through the alt it's become very bright than the batt. It means batt is not sufficient to a 100W. I used a Flosser 90/200 Germany. There was no delay in switching to H/L but the difference was very much evident. This was on the stock RR setup. After feeding through the new RR setup I'vent tried it. So in that u may be right, cause 100w + 9AH batt, makes a differnce.

Well that graph uses what power halo? It is not specified! It may be a standard 60/55W for all we know.

Dude, yes u are correct. I didnt noticed it. The chart was made with a 55W halo and 35W HID of 4300K.

Will a bike reflector withstand 130's heat? considering the fact that I've changed 3 times with a 100/90W, or Pulsar reflecor is a cheap quality. As the top portion of the reflector melts all the time means that 90W(low beam) is using all the time and if that too melts the reflector, so imagine what could be the damage with a 100/130W These bulbs are meant for the metal reflectors I think.

Yeah, reflector will be damaged. Only solution is to use amby/gypsy reflector!

That is why Abhi is using Abmi's reflector and my fren is using Gypsy's. It will cost max of 150rs.

7" Round beam wont be a suitable one for Pulsar fairing and a max of 6" will do within the sealed beam, but another painful job is positioning as the P's reflectors are in 3 ball sockets, so we need to fix it to the new reflectors from the old reflector. And I dont want to spoil my bikes looks and the fairing has a lot of space for many utilities. But considering the limitations of reflectors my priority has changed, now am after projectors.

Shreeni, has any one rewinded Uni's coil earlier? what was the result?

I know a guy using 90/100w on stock reflector after rewinding since a year. No probs till date

Abhi's is classic Pulsar so putting Amby's doom is straight fit.

Which bike is that? I've changed the sealed beams 3 times already with a 90/100W. Is it a Pulsar with the Fairing? or a classic? Classic dome can take all car doms

Its already been told earlier man, do u know some one with the fairing dome?
I cant compromise without the fairing Classic can accomodate all universal 7" dome to my knowledge. Amby and Gypsy are not a new swap at all. Do some contribution to the "fairy" domes too
