Guys der is a serious problem in my Pulsar 200 DTS-i (2008 Model). Recently i had changed total electricals of the bike including Digital console, BCU, both left n right switches, RR unit, Stator coil n wiring harness. The problem is that while running, the small bulbs of headlight, meter lights n L-R Switches light starts flickering even when the light switch is off. I again changed the right switch thought that it would be the main cause of da issue but, then also same problem exists. The sai service guys are also not able to make out the exact problem of it. Please Help.

Re: help me to improve my electricals
hello guys,
please help me to convert my pulsar 150 ug2 from 35w to 55/60w. I know this is a very old topic and a lot of information is available in threads.
But My head is spinning from all the information overload.I'll be simple in my inquiry.
I need to get avenger 180 coil(dv111005),but it is not available in my city.So can i use avenger 200's coil(jm111002). If yes do i need to change the rotor too?
If i finally get to the coil, will i need a relay to connect to the headlight,What in the world is a relay?
Somebody help me out of this nightmare.DON'T ARGUE WITH AN 6 WHEELER.

Re: help me to improve my electricals
There are many links here which guide you step-by-step. But honestly it is really not worth the efforts. I am sorry if I sound discouraging. However you could try much brighter bulbs like OS NB+, Phillips EV.Originally posted by deepanpandiaraj View Posthello guys,

Getting angry at somebody is the same as getting angry with a bike that just won't go. You should stop and start thinking.
A good mechanic will let you watch even without charging you for it. |
It is funny to know that we've been imitated and copied so well and surprising when we notice our mistakes are copied as well.

Re: help me to improve my electricals
Why not? Just check the capacity of your reflector. In rare cases the reflector or the headlamp fades due to heat. Moreover you could use a relay if necessary. All these are options. In my opinion you can use the Osram or Phillips easily without mods.Fellow BHPians should shed some light on it. Keep us posted.Originally posted by deepanpandiaraj View Postthanks petrolhead.but will nightbreaker or extra vision run on 35/35w?My DIY(s) - Sprocket bearing change | Paint job | Custom speedo dial

Re: help me to improve my electricals
a 35/35W reflector is capable of handling a 55/60W bulb.. the heat produced is moe, but not so much to deface the reflector..Originally posted by petrolhead_chn View PostWhy not? go ahead a fir a 55/60W bulb without any mod..
Ride safe and have fun.
